Small supermarket right at the entrance with bread rolls etc. Sanitary clean, unfortunately at our time there was a technical defect in a wash house, so you had to go to the other, far away sanitary to shower. We definitely come back every year. The staff at reception are incredibly friendly. The pitch and the sanitary facilities are always clean and well maintained. There is a small camping store on site as well as a small snack bar and vending machines. You are well catered for there. A dream with children. We also had dogs with us - the dog zone is very small, it would also be nice if there was a small section where dogs were also allowed in the water, otherwise I can recommend the place for families, the plots are well signposted and the size is great.

There is also plenty on offer for adults. You can access the B10 cycle path directly from the campsite, which leads around the entire lake with connections to other cycle paths inland. We would have thought more life in the village, but the campground was a nice discovery. We spent a very relaxing week, where we appreciated the courtesy of the staff, the always excellent cleanliness of the bathrooms and the tranquility of the campground (with beautiful sunsets).

FROM THE VERY FRIENDLY STAFF AT RECEPTION TO THE SERVICE STAFF, WE WERE REALLY IMPRESSED. THE PITCH WAS VERY LARGE AND OFFERED PLENTY OF SUN AS WELL AS SHADE FROM THE TREES. THAT WAS SUPER... PLEASANT. BUT THE BEACH AREA WAS ALSO VERY ATTRACTIVE. ALTHOUGH THE CAMPSITE WAS ALMOST ALWAYS FULLY BOOKED, THE BEACH WAS VERY MANAGEABLE AND PLEASANT. THE SPORTS FACILITIES HERE ARE FANTASTIC AND VERY VARIED. THE LAKE IS GREAT FOR SWIMMING, IT'S NOT PARTICULARLY DEEP AND THEREFORE VERY WARM. WHAT WE LIKED BEST WAS CYCLING HERE, WITH THE MANY DIFFERENT TOUR OPTIONS. THE LEISURE ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS ARE ALSO EXCEPTIONAL AND EXCITING. WE WERE ALSO VERY LUCKY WITH THE WEATHER, 3 WEEKS OF SUNSHINE WITH 2 THUNDERSTORMS AND ONE SUNLESS DAY. You can even choose a fixed pitch number and don't have to pay extra for it. The check-in was quick and easy. As newcomers to Burgenland, we were given lots of important information at the CI!
The site is spacious and beautiful. We had a pitch in... the 2nd row from the lake - fantastically beautiful!
We particularly liked the night-time rest, which starts at 10 pm and which everyone really adheres to. It was pure relaxation! Pitch "large" was more than sufficient for our relatively long caravan (compared to the old parcelling still visible on the lines). Despite two long weekends, it was relatively quiet and relaxed on this huge pitch (we've had other experiences). The cleaning team coped really well with the rush, all respect.

Small bar where drinks and food are offered, in the evening there was live music!

A big compliment to the cleaning team, we have been campers for half a lifetime but I have never experienced such clean wash houses. Sometimes I thought the cleaning ladies were always there. We were on pitch 164 second row in front of the lake, actually a nice place, the Fordermann had placed his camper offset to ours so we both had a view of the lake. 3 days later there was a change of the Fordermann, as we were on an excursion... we didn't notice. When we came back to the campsite, the new camper was standing with the full length of his caravan about 30cm in front of our marker. the view was gone. his caravan would have had 2.5 meters of space to the front. Since I was on vacation, I didn't do anything about it, but I wish such campers a similar experience.
We wish this camper a nice vacation. We were on pitch 164, he was one pitch further on.
Otherwise we had a very relaxing vacation on this very nice campsite.

The site is located directly on the lake, which is particularly suitable for SUP.
However, the pitches are terribly close together and hardly separated from each other by plants or similar. We had booked a pitch in the largest category,... which unfortunately makes no noticeable difference, as the larger pitches are only longer and the non-existent distance to the neighbor does not increase.
The sanitary facilities have the charm of the 80s and were okay overall.
The staff are very nice and it wasn't a problem that we left early.
It would simply be better if one or two pitches per row were dispensed with here, making the whole situation a little more spacious. It goes without saying that you are not alone on a campsite in high season.
