As it is in the middle of an industrial area, we were initially concerned, but that was unnecessary.
The site is very quiet!
In addition to many very nice permanent campers, there is a flat meadow area with mostly well-kept lawns for tourists....
The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but were always clean.
The site is located directly on the Do.-Ems Canal, from here there are many opportunities for hiking or cycling.
The owners, Helga and Frank, and the whole team were always friendly and helpful.
The only thing I might have to complain about,
for 1.50 per shower I would have liked to have showered a little longer. But that's a matter of opinion.
Many thanks, Helga and Frank!Automatski prevedeno.Nijedan kamper još nije označio ovu ocjenu korisnom. Budite prvi! - 4.0EFE. F.april 20254.0EFE. F.april 2025PozitivnoFriendliness, location, parking performanceNegativnoNoneEaster 2025Hello,
We were guests for the 2nd time over Easter with our motorhome on this site, which has everything a camper's heart needs. And at a fair price too.
In addition to the great surroundings, which you can easily explore by bike or on foot, there was a great surprise at Easter, which showed how much heart and soul the operators put into the well-being of their guests. We will definitely be back....Automatski prevedeno.Nijedan kamper još nije označio ovu ocjenu korisnom. Uwe B.mart 20245.0UBUwe B.mart 2024PozitivnoNo pitches, so you quickly come into contact with the other campers.NegativnoI can't think of anyLovingly managed placeA lovely site on the Dortmund-Ems Canal with around 20 pitches for tourist campers on a beautiful meadow. You immediately notice that the operators put their heart and soul into their work. The site was very lovingly decorated for Easter and on Easter Sunday the Easter bunny came to every (!) camper.... The friendliness of the operators seems to extend to the campers - everyone here is very friendly, whether they are permanent campers or tourists. It's very easy to make contact and meet up at the fire pit, for example.
We felt very comfortable and it certainly wasn't the last time we were there.Automatski prevedeno.Nijedan kamper još nije označio ovu ocjenu korisnom. Budite prvi! - 5.0
Emil V.decembar 20235.0Emil V.decembar 2023PozitivnoFriendly welcome. Quiet on the campsite (quiet location) No time pressure on departure which is very important to us. WC and showers very clean. Dishwashing facilities clean. Washing machine and dryer also available for washing and drying clothes. Everything on the campsite was tidy and clean. Bistro food tasted good. Plenty of choice of drinks. Prices okay. We would love to come back in 2024. Petra and Emil VogelsNegativnoBarrier must be opened manually.Very nice and quiet campsite. This campsite is in a nice quiet location. Gas stations in the immediate vicinity. A very good and tasty restaurant in Senden. Food was plentiful. Service was friendly and courteous.
Other places such as Münster easily accessible.
Beautiful cycle paths.
Very nicely laid out marina.
It was beautifully decorated for Christmas in December.
All in all an excellent campsite.

- 4.0JFJoHannes F.juli 20194.0JFJoHannes F.juli 2019Pozitivno- Close to Münster, NL etc - inexpensive and very quiet camping - shopping facilities and bus stop within easy cycling distanceNegativno- Showers quite expensive (but really hot!!!) - free WLAN only near the receptionFamiliar CP Kranenkamp, very quiet and recommendable, also reasonably pricedWe stayed at the Kranencamp for 16 days and were able to sleep very restfully for 16 nights: no anti-social music or TV nuisance. Even the numerous permanent campers behaved "acoustically completely unobtrusive" :-) The campsite is characterized by the permanent campers, the two groundskeepers and a... family atmosphere: the former are very nice and open across the board. There seems to be a "duty to greet", and doors to the sanitary facilities, for example, are kept open, and the totally nice groundskeepers Reinhard and Peter are also very approachable (even when registering by phone), always approachable and always very helpful. The campsite is more of a transit station for users of the A1, bikers and cyclists. The proximity to Münster and many other sights in the near and far surroundings characterize this CP. The town of Senden is easy to reach by bike: approx. 3.5 km, to MS you can easily take the S92 bus, which stops every half hour at the bus stop approx. 1 km away and also takes bicycles. The sanitary facilities may be getting on in years, but were always clean and were cleaned several times if necessary. Shower tokens cost €1, but you can clean yourself and bathe for a good 5 minutes with water as hot as we've ever experienced on a campsite: there's absolutely no risk of legionella! We can highly recommend the restaurant at the entrance to the campsite, which serves German/Yugoslavian cuisine: Impeccable taste and freshness, with a salad buffet; glasses that are not filled below the calibration mark; very attentive service; very generous portions and reasonably priced. Free WLAN ("carefree 123") is unfortunately only available around reception. Otherwise LTE via mobile phone. Very cheap use of the washing machine: €2.50. CP fees also very reasonable. Electricity connections completely problem-free. Disadvantages: There are only 2 water points on the "meadow" reserved for campers and no possibility to discharge waste water directly.Automatski prevedeno.Nijedan kamper još nije označio ovu ocjenu korisnom. M. S.maj 20192.0M. S.maj 2019PozitivnoNice groundskeeper, good area for cycling, Lüdinghausen is nice to visit by bike, good restaurantNegativnoEverything totally run down (sanitary see also above)Not convincing...We will not be going back. Reasons: Infrastructure totally "down"... Playground closed, soccer field not mowed (not usable), a totally filthy men's shower, toilet next to washing area... Narrow access road to the tourist meadow, past rather run-down camp barracks (which wasn't so bad) Water available... at the tourist meadow, waste water disposal not to be found = drag waste water 200 meters? Heribert O.maj 20184.0Heribert O.maj 2018PozitivnoFriendlinessFriendly campsite, especially for boat ownersI had booked this place to attend the Katholikentag in Münster. I was greeted warmly on the phone as soon as I made the inquiry. When I arrived at the campsite on 8.5.2018, I was greeted by Mr. Kranefoer with a friendly smile. He showed me the pitch on the meadow where I should park my VW bus. Again... and again, the encounter with him was very friendly, from May 10 there were bread rolls. The meadow is not very big, you should ask in advance if there is space. The permanent campers were also very friendly. There are many who have their boat moored in the harbor. The restaurant at the campsite is highly recommended, I received very friendly service there. The sanitary facilities are old, but okay. If everyone would keep the toilets clean, the successor would be grateful. You can also clean the shower yourself with the equipment provided. If I ever come back to this area, I will visit this place again. You can get to the town quickly by bike and there's everything you need there. It took me 1 hour to get to Münster by bikeAutomatski prevedeno.Nijedan kamper još nije označio ovu ocjenu korisnom. Caution to all those towing a large caravan or traveling with a large motorhome****. The access road to the campsite is very narrow. We made a small dent in the caravan and had to uncouple for a bend. Furthermore, the sanitary facilities... are getting on in years and it wasn't really clean either. The site has a small playground for children. However, playing on the large meadow is prohibited in the "house rules of the site".
