"Beautifully situated with a small lake on the Pfrimm - A lovely little campsite that was taken over in 2021 and has been modernized ever since. The operators and staff are all very friendly and helpful. We wanted to stay seven nights and then extended to twelve. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but the showers in the old buildings are very small. However, you can get dressed and undressed very well in front of them. However, there are also newer showers that are slightly larger and have a partition wall as splash protection. The restaurant and café have very short opening hours in the off-season. The café is located directly on the lake, which you can swim in. You can go hiking and cycling directly from the campsite. About three kilometers away is the Retzberghütte, where you can eat and drink delicious food. There is a butcher's store in the neighboring village. If you're there on a Saturday, you should pop in. Heeger farm store. It's worth it! The approximately one kilometer long and partly steep road to the CP is not as bad as many have written. It is probably very narrow, hence the departure by 12 noon and arrival from 2 pm, so that the road is clear. However, you should drive slowly and show consideration for each other. We really liked the gentle hilly landscape with its red soil. The villages are almost reminiscent of France. The campsite is tucked away at the end of the road like a little oasis. We felt very comfortable and would love to go there again.

"Dreamlike nature luxury vacation - We were the first guests to try out the private spa pitch with hot tub for a long week. We were thrilled. The first contact at booking and check-in was very friendly. Nice staff everywhere. The access to the CP is indeed adventurous. But as it is a public road, the campsite probably has little influence on it. The place seems to be gradually being renovated and renewed. The young couple who run it are trying to turn an old campsite into a modern one. You have to admit that not everything can be done at once. Therefore: Keep it up!!! Our private spa pitch was in the upper area and was therefore very quiet. The pitch was very level and well paved. The wood-fired hot tub was awesome. However, future chlorination would be advisable as the water quickly becomes cloudy. A pitch with a private sauna was being built next door. Also very nice. Despite this luxury, the campsite tries to remain a nature resort. We are curious to see whether this difficult balancing act will succeed in the future. The campsite itself is beautifully laid out and clean. The surroundings are pure nature. The sanitary facilities were always clean. Unfortunately, they are no longer completely modern, but they are absolutely adequate. For example, you have to turn the lights on and off manually and operate the showers with hot and cold controls. Complaining at a high level ;). This didn't bother us, but to be fair it should be mentioned. The point deduction for sanitary facilities was actually due to the lack of privacy in the shower. Although you shower in a cubicle, you have to get changed in front of it. There is a small shop on site with a bread roll service, a café with delicious cakes and a restaurant with very good food. And yes, the prices have gone up. Like everywhere else... For children there is a trampoline, pedal cars and two outdated playgrounds. There is also a swimming lake and a boules court. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back... Thank you very much

"Beautiful but too expensive - For people to hike, beautiful, good air and quiet. Disastrous approach to the site. In the restaurant next door cheapest food from 22€. What I loved was the café on site with its always fresh and varied cakes and pastries. Many of the advertised themes such as spa on the square etc. not there or available. No shopping facilities within walking distance. Overall, you should consider whether you want that for the price. The advertised 31€ is not correct, but only for a single person on a small pitch.

"Natural square - 2 nights in transit. Nice, quiet place. Actually everything you need. I found the approach a bit difficult and not exactly cheap.

Das Naturcamping Resort Waldglück liegt am Eingangstor des UNESCO-Biosphärenreservats Pfälzerwald zwischen malerischen Hügellandschaften, saftigen Wiesen und endlosem Wald. Der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Radtouren und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Nach einer Betriebsübernahme im August …2021 sind wir als junges Familienunternehmen mit Herzblut und Leidenschaft dabei, unsere Vision eines nachhaltigen Naturresorts in die Tat umzusetzen. Auf über 80.000 qm bieten wir großzügige Camping Stellplätze und außergewöhnliche Unterkünfte im oberen Pfrimmtal an. Abseits von engen Parzellen sind alle Plätze auf unserem ECO-Campingplatz mit viel Privatsphäre in die wunderschöne Naturumgebung eingebettet. Von Abenteuer-Campern, Puristen und Lagerfeuer-Liebhabern bis hin zu Weitblick-Träumern, Komfort-Genießern und Gruppen - hier findet jeder sein Glück. Übernachten kann man zudem auch in unseren voll ausgestatteten Familien-Chalets und Mini-Holzhäusern.
