In the preliminary planning, the campsite was simply convenient - now that we are there, it is not only convenient but also surrounded by greenery. We arrived in the pouring rain where the owner greeted us with a mixture... of English, French and German and joked about the weather. He was a pleasant fellow who immediately invited us into his pizzeria - but we didn't accept. A short time later, he lent us his ladder, as our chimney cover had fallen off - also not a matter of course. - Marcel K.august 2019Pozitivnoreasonable price, very cleanNegativnofor our purpose of a one-time overnight stay no+++ Used as a stopover - clean and great value for money +++The basic information in advance: We have chosen this place for an overnight stopover on our way home from Provence to NRW. We are traveling with a baby and toddler in a caravan about 7m long. I have been camping since I was a child and my basis for comparing sites is explicitly not luxury camping, but... I know wash houses where you had to take your own toilet roll. In other words, this is not a negative point for me. The campsite has around 100 pitches, mostly on grass, only a very small proportion on gravel. Unusually, the reception also speaks German. We arrived around 5 pm, free choice of pitches and there was still plenty available. Towards the evening, the place became quite full, as it is frequented by many travelers passing through. Despite the proximity to the playground, the site was quiet from 10pm (with the exception of one British camper, who pulled themselves together after being told). The site has a restaurant at the front (we didn't use it) and baguettes, crossaints etc. can be pre-ordered at reception for the next morning (available from 7.45am). Pitches available in various sizes. Some of the paths are a bit narrow, but everything is doable. Please note: my 25m CEE cable reached its limit to the power box for the first time, but it was still just enough. The sanitary facilities are immaculate and well maintained. I totally disagree with the previous reviews aka "getting on in years". Although the facilities are not new, everything is very well maintained and you could have literally eaten off the floor. Toilets without glasses are now standard in FR, but I have never seen toilets this clean in FR. With many travelers passing through, I had doubts that everything would still be so clean the next morning, but surprisingly it was. So please don't be confused by the reviews, the sanitary standard here is very good in my opinion. Ideal price/performance ratio. We paid approx. 24 euros for 2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby. Conclusion: A very nice place to stay that we would visit again at any time.Automatski prevedeno.

For 3 adults we paid €26 for the night with electricity for the camper van and towing vehicle - I think that's absolutely fine. The food there - the menu is not varied - but the chef can specialize. I don't need 150 dishes... that can't necessarily be prepared by the kitchen staff. For my daughter: pizza €13 but with salad buffet, my mother: goulash in red wine sauce (delicious) + chips €16 with salad buffet and me: steak with pepper sauce (also delicious) of course chips & salad buffet €18 plus the usual drinks: total between €50 - €60. It's true that the wash house is very clean but old. But I didn't need to book in advance, was able to eat deliciously (not overpriced in my opinion) and spent a very quiet night there. It was absolutely fine for a stopover, but I doubt whether I would necessarily want to spend my annual vacation there for 3 weeks. My overnight stopover in the direction of Spain is much further south. It's bigger, has a swimming pool, several gardeners, more choice of food ---- but is also twice as expensive ----- and we only stay there for 1 night.....Automatski prevedeno.

The operators are very friendly and also speak English. The restaurant was satisfactory if you don't expect haute cuisine. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but were clean at all times. The site is often visited... by campers passing through who only stay 1-2 nights, but the wonderful location of the site definitely deserves a longer stay. Langres is nearby, a great old town with very interesting architecture and Dijon is not far away either. It was a relaxing vacation there!Automatski prevedeno.

The site is park-like and you have a free choice of pitches. The manager is very nice and helpful. We found the small restaurant not so great and the waiters quite unfriendly, but expensive. It might be better to drive to nearby... Langres for a bite to eat. This small, old town with its fortifications is certainly worth a visit. We were only there briefly to refuel and shop. There are a few bathing lakes nearby, so you can easily spend two or three days there with a tour of the town. The sanitary facilities are quite dated but clean and still OK for a short stay. Ideal for one or more days.QUIET PLACE IN RURAL SURROUNDINGSWe have known this place for many years, new, friendly owners for 2 years. The reception is only staffed from 4.30 - 8 pm but no problem > just arrive, choose a pitch, stand, when the office is open > register. Small store with local products in the office, order bread for the next morning, free W-Lan... in the entrance area. Site clean and well-kept, some large pitches with and without shade, mostly grass. Sanit. Facilities in good condition and always clean, separate children's bathroom. Small restaurant on site with various menus, good and reasonably priced.Automatski prevedeno.

Registration is quick and unbureaucratic, and you can order fresh bread and croissants for the morning. The pitches are adequate and beautiful, mainly grass. Some... pitches have grass pavers to keep you dry in wet weather. Only one wash house is open in the low season, which is ok because there isn't much going on. The peace and quiet is unbeatable. If you're looking for it, this is the place to be. The site is ideal as it is half the distance from northern Germany to the Mediterranean. Very quiet, friendly welcome, free choice of pitch, fresh French baguette in the morning. The pitches are easy to drive to and you can often leave your caravan attached. You can also eat well there in the evening. On arrival, you can order bread rolls, baguettes or croissants for the morning. Otherwise, there is nothing special to see around the site. Well maintained. Very few permanent campers in the low season. Mainly used by overnight campers. Small restaurant only open at weekends out of season. Sanitary area is clean but could do with an update. A number of pitches are suitable for parking without unhitching... the caravan. Apart from the possibility of ordering baked goods for the next morning, there are no shopping facilities (at least out of season) on the site. If the pitch is soggy, there may be problems here and there due to the heavy ground. Some pitches (for overnight guests on tarred ground or with additional reinforcement of the soft ground.... Addendum October 2016: I have been going to this site for several years now. Unfortunately, the restaurant was no longer open at the end of October, even at weekends. Nevertheless, the boss offered us a cooked meal! In the meantime there has been a change of operator. The sanitary facilities could do with a little freshening up. Everything is clean - but getting on in years....And it is the only place where I have to unpack the electric extension cord, and yet the cable is barely enough.
