We stayed at the campground in 2026 during the wine festival. An event surcharge is charged for this period. It’s not clear what this surcharge is for. In any case, a large group of guests decided to continue partying loudly at the campground after attending the wine... festival. No one from the campground management was there to put a stop to it.
When I reported this to the front desk the next morning, I was simply told that this happens often and that there was nothing they could do about it.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious. The Aloha Beach Bar is cozy and invites you to linger and party. The restrooms and other facilities are clean and in perfect working order. The water... level in the lake had dropped slightly due to the hot summer, making it a bit murky. But that’s also due to the sandy bottom. Another big plus is that the campground offers plenty of sun as well as shaded spots. It’s best to mention right when you book if you’d like a bit more shade. geht nur bis 15:30 Uhr man kann aber erst um 16:00 Uhr einchecken. Man sagte uns sie hätten mehr bestellt und man könnte trotzdem Brötchen kaufen, um 8:00 Uhr macht der Bäcker auf und ich war um 8:05 Uhr da und es... gab nur noch weiße Brötchen. Man hätte uns sagen können das ganz in der nähe ein Bäcker ist. Fand ich schade.
