Beautiful location directly on the lake
The site is in a very idyllic location directly on the lake. The majority of the pitches are not parceled out and are freely selectable. The reception was friendly, the sanitary facilities are clean, but there can be waiting times when the site is full. The famous Voringfossen waterfall is nearby and... a narrow road leads up to the Hardangervidda, a fantastic hiking area.
You can walk to the Hardangervidda Nature Center, where there is also a large restaurant.

dirty, desolate and cold sanitary facilities, too expensive in the NS
Quiet CP
We only stayed at this campsite for one night. The reception is very friendly and the location of the campsite is great, but a bit expensive for over €30 in the low season. You could also heat the sanitary facilities at an outside temperature of 5 degrees Celsius, especially as they were in a very dirty... and desolate condition. It is incomprehensible to me that you have to pay extra for hot showers and cooking with these fees. It's a shame, the site is in an absolutely idyllic location and is certainly a good starting point for many hiking tours.

Too few toilets for the space.
Place in a beautiful location
We were passing through here, nice staff, free choice of pitch, price for car with caravan approx. 26 euros.

Uncomplicated, nice reception and we were allowed to put the caravan wherever we wanted.

Sometimes strong gusts of wind blow across the campsite, but that's no problem. You should just be aware of this if you are pitching an awning ;)
Beautiful campsite
We stayed at the campsite for two days (with dog). Very nice and friendly welcome. Possibility to buy drinks at the reception and also to pre-order bread/rolls for the next day. Good starting point for excursions.

Fantastic view of the lake.
Very nice place,
Quiet pitch. Very nice atmosphere - the location is ideal for day trips and many quiet hours on the site. Facilities are good and well maintained.

Nice little CP
Very friendly operators. Pitches freely selectable, no limitation/parcelling. Partly uneven. Power connections far away depending on pitch. Small store. Sanitary facilities getting on in years but clean. Playground for the little ones. Everything very pleasant and recommendable.

Close to Vidda, directly on the lake, ideal base for all kinds of excursions

Highly recommended
Nice & courteous operators, nice & quiet place. We were passing through and stayed longer than planned. Well suited as a starting point for day hikes in the Vidda. The restaurant opposite the entrance: small menu, but very good quality. We were there every day...

Unclean toilet blocks.
Great location large site, level ground, toilet block needed cleaning
Great location site, lovely flat ground, friendly helpful staff. Good shower and washing blocks, although do get very busy in the summer. Toilet blocks of good quality, but need a thorough clean and much more regularly cleaned for the number of people staying, the cleaning was very random and needs properly cleaning probably at least 4 times a day in the busy summer and this clearly was not happening, otherwise a great site.

Fantastic campsite
Great location, the lake is full of char. Rowing boats and fishing licenses are easily available.
