The majority of the pitches are not parceled out and are freely selectable. The reception was friendly, the sanitary facilities are clean, but there can be waiting times when the site is full. The famous Voringfossen waterfall is nearby and... a narrow road leads up to the Hardangervidda, a fantastic hiking area.

The reception is very friendly and the location of the campsite is great, but a bit expensive for over €30 in the low season. You could also heat the sanitary facilities at an outside temperature of 5 degrees Celsius, especially as they were in a very dirty... and desolate condition. It is incomprehensible to me that you have to pay extra for hot showers and cooking with these fees. Possibility to buy drinks at the reception and also to pre-order bread/rolls for the next day. Good shower and washing blocks, although do get very busy in the summer.
