Jürgen P.Ağustos 20253.0Jürgen P.Ağustos 2025Olumlu yanlarıThe site is really surrounded by greenery and is very manageable in size. Large pitches. Very friendly staff. The certainly very individual design is here and there, but already very outdated. The one or other nice decoration, has it due to the weather, but behind it. Good starting point to explore Weimar and Bad Berka by bike via the Ilmradweg. Car-free and in the middle of nature. There is always a bit of water nearby for dogs.Olumsuz yanlarıThe sanitary facilities could have been cleaned more often. The floor in the toilets but also in the shower area often looked disgusting. The garbage cans were only emptied when they were really full. Especially in the sanitary building the garbage cans should be cleaned daily. I think the electricity charge of €0.90 per kwh is absolutely overpriced.Great and quiet locationMy wife and I stayed at this lovely little campsite from 01.08. - 05.08.2025. We were accompanied by our dog. I booked the campsite at the end of January and received a confirmation email quite quickly. We received a very friendly welcome from Marco when we arrived. As we were driving a relatively large... caravan, we were allowed to occupy two pitches next to each other. That was great. We mainly wanted to see Weimar and explore the surrounding area by bike. Weimar is 15 km away on a well-maintained cycle path through the countryside. Bad Berka is also very easy to reach by bike. The campsite is highly recommended for these purposes.
The campsite is a transit site. Many guests stay for one or two nights and then set off again. The food in the men's restaurant is highly recommended. The price and performance are right here.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.1 kampçı bu derecelendirmeyi faydalı buldu. - 4.0

On the negative side, due to the changing offer for dinner (very good !!), the contents of your own fridge do not decrease and the grill remains cold.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.1 kampçı bu derecelendirmeyi faydalı buldu. - 4.0TBThomas B.Ekim 20244.0TBThomas B.Ekim 2024Olumlu yanlarıReally great place decoration, I have never experienced it like this before. Perfect car-free connection to Weimar via the Ilm Valley cycle path.Olumsuz yanlarıThe showers.Very stylish, well located, a tad too expensiveWe chose this place because we wanted to spend a few days discovering Weimar. It is ideally located for this, and you can be in the middle of the city in around 30 minutes by e-bike via the adjacent Ilm Valley cycle path. The "site decoration" is really remarkable - I've never seen anything like it,... probably something to do with the operator's former life at the theater. The pitches were okay, but a bit muddy after a long period of rain. As for the sanitary facilities, the toilets and washbasins were first class, but unfortunately the showers were not - but that should change soon. The price shown here (28 euros) is unfortunately no longer correct, we paid 33 euros. We also had to pay for electricity (0.90 Ct/kWh) and shower (1 Euro/3 minutes). We could get over the fact that there was no longer any service (bread rolls, drinks etc.) on the pitch in mid-October.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.2 kampçı bu derecelendirmeyi faydalı buldu.
- 5.0JFJulia F.Ağustos 20245.0JFJulia F.Ağustos 2024Olumlu yanlarıEverything 🤗Olumsuz yanlarıNothingWe always enjoy coming back🤗This camping weekend is also one of our highlights in 2024.
As every year in summer, camping at Marco's cozy, hospitable campsite, which is run with a lot of love and passion, was not to be missed, and it was again an experience.nothing is missing.the hospitable "men's restaurant" always invites you... to have a cool drink, where you can sit longer in the evening.
The sanitary facilities and the "wash-up bar" are originally designed and always clean.
Such an atmosphere makes you want to extend your stay.
There is a sign on the square that reads:
"We are guests at the hotel,
here we are at home. "
And that best expresses the campsite's motto.
We like to come back again and again

Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Good starting point to visit Weimar, Erfurt, Jena or the beautiful castles and parks in the area. Cycling with e-bikes is great, otherwise you need to be fit in the hilly landscape. The men's restaurant serves typical Thuringian dishes.Olumsuz yanlarıMaybe that many campers are just passing through because of the proximity to the highway. Far too good for just one night.Vacation idyllExceptional campsite, beautiful, unusual design, e.g. pitch numbers are on old milk churns.
Quiet, you can hear lots of birdsong in the morning. Beautifully designed toilet block. (New shower building in progress.)

- 5.0FHFred H.Eylül 20215.0FHFred H.Eylül 2021Olumlu yanlarıallOlumsuz yanlarıactually nothingSimply rest and relaxationWe actually wanted to go back to the Baltic Sea after a year's "forced break". Unfortunately, many others wanted to do the same, so we looked for alternatives and found the "Im Grünen" campsite in Oettern.
It was an absolute stroke of luck. After a very warm welcome from the operator Marko, we were shown... the pitch, electricity connection, water, toilet and showers. Once we had our campervan in position and the car engine was switched off, we heard ............ nothing! Absolute peace and quiet. You can relax within minutes. Nothing changed during our entire stay. The site is relatively small (approx. 50 pitches) and there is a separation between tourists and permanent campers, but people meet in the evening or at the weekend from midday in the "Männerwirtschaft" and have a good time with regional beer and delicious Thuringian home cooking. On Wednesdays, the barbecue is fired up and there is, of course, Thuringian grilled sausage. The secret star is the campsite dog Chloe. She sometimes comes to visit and "looks after things". If you like it sporty, the Ilm cycle path runs right next to the campsite and is quite challenging in terms of gradients.
Otherwise you should be mobile. The site is outside of Oettern, Erfurt, Weimar and Jena can be reached very quickly.
P.S. Be sure to drive "overland" to Erfurt. You can also take the highway, which is only a 5-minute drive away, but it's not nearly as much fun. So if you like peace and quiet, head for Oettern.
Addendum: Marko, if you're reading this, keep up the good work. We'll keep our promise and come back. And thanks again for the help with our "flat tire" and also a greeting to Christian Rau and his team from Autohaus Formen Cars for the quick and uncomplicated help.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.1 kampçı bu derecelendirmeyi faydalı buldu. - 5.0BCBeat C.Eylül 20215.0BCBeat C.Eylül 2021Olumlu yanlarıWonderful, quiet, natural site on the edge of the forest with almost everything you need.Olumsuz yanlarıNo WLAN, showers with coins, gray water drain still missing (but is in planning).Very nice, quiet, whale placeVery nice place, nice operator, nice toilet block with washing-up facilities outside under the roof, functional showers (we're not big on coin-operated showers).
