The park nearby is very nice and you can sit by the sea (not swim).

Less suitable for longer vacations, as "only" Venice is at your feet.Best choice for a visit to VeniceThe site is easy to access, has flat pitches, shade or semi-shade, mostly with gravel, modern, well-dimensioned sanitary facilities (rain shower, toilets with glasses + paper dispenser), everything very clean and well-kept, small pool (indoor), which we did not use.
Approx. 5 min walk to the bus station,... 2 stops to Venice train station, where you can board a vaporetto (public transport) directly and travel through the Grand Canal to St. Mark's Square. Recommendation: day ticket for 25 euros. Absolutely suitable as a pitch for 1-2 nights to see Venice, less suitable for a vacation. No sea, no river. There is a tiny, really tiny indoor pool (2.50 euros per person). The alleged "store" consists of 3 shelves,... completely overpriced. A little further on, however, a Lidl. Restaurant very tasty. Sanitary facilities very nice, clean, modern. Single cubicles, large showers. Washing machine 5 euros and powder 1 euro. Wifi for a fee, only works to a limited extent. Apart from the fact that the route to the actual sights is really very easy to reach by bus or car, that's about it. If you are not traveling with a motorhome, the campsite is not really the best for tents. Who wants to pitch their tent on a gravel site where I can barely get a peg into the ground... without a hammer? A constant coming and going of motorhomes, accompanied by the annoying crunching of tires on the gravel. Waste disposal ... - Containers for this are hand-picked and have to be found first, obviously others have seen this too - as evidenced by the cigarette butts between the gravel ... even in places where you actually want to pitch your tent. So for me it is clear that of all the campsites I have visited with a tent in Italy, this one is the least suitable for camping with a tent.
