The location directly behind the dike, the whole staff very friendly from the reception, restaurant and the groundskeepers, the two sanitary buildings are a bit older, but clean and well maintained, you can arrange well with the garbage times. The proximity to the swimming pool and the Weißenhäuser Strand vacation complex. we can't say anything about the discussed topic of W-Lan, as we didn't need it. the pitches are perfectly adequate. we would come back anytime!

Unfortunately, one point does not meet our requirements either, in field B, there are toilet containers, they are clean but for 5 stars there is a little need for action.

When the permanent campers arrived on Friday, the peace and quiet was over. Loud music into the night is probably allowed here. Perhaps even desired. I couldn't reasonably be expected to go over there with my son in the dark. Especially not to leave him alone in the camper van. And then to talk to obvious idiots.

The pitch is great. Straight and large pitches. Friendly staff. Great restaurant.

Unfriendly staff from start to finish
View a great place if it weren't for the staff
We visited the site for the first time and were very shocked by the friendliness of the staff. Arrival in the afternoon at 17:30.

Our mistake, we overlooked the small stop sign for the check-in in front of the barrier and then stood at the barrier and rang the bell.

The harsh tone, drive back to the... "HALTEBUCHT" and then come to the reception...

Ok, on request I was then told that I should simply back up 50m, of course with a trailer nothing easier than that.

So I went cheerfully to reception as instructed...

When the woman saw that I was coming, she hid behind the counter, the reception was only open until 5pm. Outside, I was told to press an emergency button for the night watchman or to dial a number.

The night watchman came shortly afterwards and explained the most necessary things. We were allocated a pitch and that was that. As we could only check in the next day, there was no way to leave the campsite by car, as you only got the chip when you checked in at 9am, so we couldn't go shopping and when we asked if there was no way to get down and up again, we were only told that it wasn't his job, he wasn't the barrier guard... Departure, handing in the chip at reception the same picture, no friendly words, no come home safely... Too bad, the place falls and rises with the staff.

When we made our reservation, we indicated that we wanted to be close to the beach.... the areas were almost completely free, but we weren't allocated a pitch, so why do they ask?

We won't be coming back because of the staff

Triangle campsite in Wangels
Unfortunately we were only there for 2 nights but we really liked it, our son (6) was camping for the first time and he also found it very nice, we will definitely come back ❤

It felt like there were no free parking spaces in the whole town if you had visitors.
Where do the 5 stars come from?
Actually beautifully situated. Directly on the Baltic Sea, in the middle of nature. The place itself with the buildings is more reminiscent of the 80s and 90s. The place itself was okay, the sanitary facilities were always dirty, sometimes with mold in the showers. The worst thing was that it is common to smoke in the toilets! Especially with children this is not nice and not possible!

What I (wheelchair user) have never had on any campsite: "Bathroom for the disabled had to be coined and timed with 5 minutes of hot water" ☹️ Sorry, but that doesn't fit at all!!!! We were at the start, as we have been umpteen times with several pitches (6) and 20 people, our collective pre-order of 40 rolls upset the roll crew every time... despite pre-ordering 🤨
Well...
For over 30 years now, we have been going to the Triangel campsite almost every year as a large Family&Friends group!
