"Dreamlike scenery - I've never had a spot like this with such a magnificent backdrop before. The view across the Forggensee to the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau is truly unique. The location is brilliant, even if the site has steep inclines and slopes. You can choose your pitch on foot beforehand. There is a playground for children as well as a sunbathing lawn by the lake. The sanitary facilities were quite young and always clean, the showers a bit small and without the possibility of keeping clothes dry. Otherwise I can't think of any disadvantages. The reception was friendly, the internet was cheap at two euros per week and worked well. The campsite is generally reasonably priced and not as expensive as elsewhere. For cyclists, it's a real treat, as you can cycle all the way around the lake from here, with the cycle path leading along the lake above the campsite. Excursions to Schwangau and Füssen and much more were a real experience.

"Terrace camping with a great view - Beautifully situated, terraced site with a large bathing area and good leisure facilities. Cycling tours possible, many places of interest nearby. Shopping facilities in Füssen, bread roll service on site. Friendly staff, sanitary building a little run-down.

"A piece of paradise - Sanitary facilities with hairdryer. Coin-operated shower works perfectly. Location couldn't be better. Friendly, helpful staff. WLAN works great. Private beach. Pizzeria invites you to eat. Bread roll service. I will be back. Small store would be nice.

"Small, cozy campsite in a prime lakeside location - The campsite is situated on a slope and is terraced. The drive over the slope is a little steeper but absolutely doable, longer caravans should inquire whether it is doable, if necessary the groundsman will tow with a tractor. There are two wash houses, the one in the middle was very busy, but there were no waiting times and it was generally relatively clean. The wash house in the middle often ran out of toilet paper or hand soap, so it wouldn't hurt to check beforehand (as far as toilet paper is concerned) ;-) The wash house at the top of the slope is rarely used, I was happy to go up there for the extra minute, it was always spotlessly clean and more pleasant for me personally. There is an Italian restaurant at the campsite. We got pizza to take away once and found it very tasty. The Cafe Maria and a small ice cream parlor are within walking distance, as is a restaurant in Rieden. Some of the pitches are uneven and the ground is very compacted, so you should be prepared for this and have the appropriate equipment with you. There are plenty of leisure activities on offer. Wonderful bike tours, mountain tours or SUP of course. Füssen has a nice old town and the forest adventure center in Ziegelwies, especially the alluvial forest path on the Lech, is highly recommended. The campsite itself is small and manageable and is often booked by families with small children; the public bathing area of Rieden is right next to the campsite. The entrance to the lake is quite rocky, so pack your bathing shoes, but the water is crystal clear and clean. There are show dairies nearby, and lots of events such as making your own butter, etc. The relevant info-mat is available at reception. The quiet time from 10.00 p.m. is frankly not observed, and this is also not checked, but from 11.30 p.m. at the latest everyone has closed their eyes, there were no party nights.
