Highlights were the new and clean sanitary facilities, the village store with the best supply of fresh bread rolls, delicious freshly prepared meals and cakes from the very friendly operator couple. Even shortly before... closing time, everything was made possible in terms of supply. The tenant couple were also friendly and helpful. We liked the fact that we could book spontaneously and easily. Very dog-friendly. We also had nice contacts with the permanent campers who occupy most of the pitches here. The site has a small restaurant/shopping facility. Here you can buy small items, enjoy coffee and cake, have breakfast or a snack. Operators and tenants are very friendly and courteous, have an open ear for every problem, are very committed to providing visitors with a pleasant vacation.NegativaThe pitches directly on the Harle are slightly sloping towards the river. I found this unpleasant when sleeping. Only some of the tourist pitches have electricity. In the fall there was a change of tenant , which has become very positive . Very nice operator couple who are always there with help and bike for all campers, clean showers and toilets. The place is getting nicer and nicer. Then the... proximity to the North Sea, easy to reach by bike. The best thing is that we got great kiosk / cafe operators since this year. Fresh bread rolls, homemade cakes, delicious food. Now even great ice cream scoops of different varieties with cream, sprinkles or sauces. Also for the daily needs everything is available. The operator is very nice and helpful, just like the operator of the small village shop. However, the sanitary facilities have the flair of a 70s school changing room. You had to bring your own toilet paper. That didn't bother... us. Everything was super clean and free of charge, which is the main thing for us. Our dog didn't have to pay either. The price-performance ratio was good. There is a restaurant nearby where you can eat well and the coast is about 4-5 km away. The pitches are large enough and some are next to the sanitary facilities (the noise was not a problem). The sanitary facilities are very clean (low season) but not up to date. For catering... there is a well-stocked kiosk with a very nice and attentive lady there is breakfast and rolls to order . There are numerous restaurants in the area, which can also be reached by bike. To the coast about 4 km on the bike path. This meant that we were exposed to this noise every day and so we decided to leave earlier. It was actually the kind of pitch we always look for. The place was perfect for that. Dogs are welcome here free of charge (not directly on the North Sea). The sanitary facilities were always clean, although it has to be said that everything there is quite old and cramped. Showers work without... tokens. Individual showers but communal changing room. Washbasins only partly with single lever mixer. There is NO TOILET PAPER in the toilets. I'd rather pay one euro more than always have to carry paper with me. The friendly operators and permanent campers know it like this. There are a lot of long-term campers here, but they were all friendly and helpful to the guests.Automatiskt översatt.
