A laid-back campground with everything close by!

We, two “newbies” to camping, were looking for a new adventure, and that’s how we stumbled upon this campground by chance.

We liked that, after checking in, we were personally escorted to our site. The supermarket and the beach are very close by, and the restroom facilities were also impressive—especially... in the women’s area—in terms of cleanliness and amenities (private, lockable stalls, hair dryers, and Greek-style decor).

One thing my partner noticed negatively was the hygiene of some men and children in the restroom area, who didn’t follow basic hygiene rules. Perhaps signs could be posted in the restrooms. While this isn’t the campground’s fault, it’s simply disrespectful toward the cleaning staff and other guests.

We found the campground to be very quiet overall and would have liked a bit more entertainment, music, or similar activities—within reason.

We noticed the spa area and the two restaurants on the grounds but didn’t try them out, mainly because the prices at the restaurants were a bit off-putting. We only visited the bakery regularly, which we can recommend.

All in all, it was a nice experience, but given the price, we probably wouldn’t choose this campground again.

We're missing a star because the constant turnover of campers was sometimes a bit of a hassle for us. One night in a RV, and then they're gone again. At times, it felt like a stopover spot. That could be improved, if possible.

The location near the beach is great, and the restroom facilities are very modern, clean, and comfortable...
But it was too impersonal and too big. The sites offer little privacy, and other campers are constantly walking across the site.

Since we rented a "Comfort" site again, we're very satisfied, as always. The food at the restaurant and the fish stand was excellent. The place was clean, too. The staff was friendly.

Top Spot
A top-notch campground with very clean restrooms and right next to the beach. Due to the size of the campground, it can get quite crowded at times, and noise levels can be high. Otherwise, it has everything you need. Highly recommended.

A really great, friendly, clean campground
Since we came on a whim, we were super happy to have found such a great spot and were actually able to enjoy 14 days of vacation at this wonderful campground and by the Baltic Sea!! And we usually never stay in one place that long!
Thank you so much to all the incredibly kind people who welcomed us here and took such good care of us. We’ll definitely be back!

I'd love to do it again!
We've been coming here for several years now because we really like the campground. From the beautiful location to the entertainment program—especially for children—to the very nice and clean restroom facilities. Overall, the campground is very well-maintained and clean. We had a shady spot during the intense heat, which was a plus.
The spot was 110 square meters, which was plenty of space for us.

Camping in Kühlungsborn
A really nice campground—it has everything you could want, from the friendly welcome to the great restroom facilities and the well-maintained sites. Of course, all that comes at a price. My only wish would be for the check-out time to be 11:00 a.m.; 10:00 a.m. is already pretty tight.

A very nice place
It was our first time there, and we got a nice, shady spot. The restrooms are very clean, and we really liked the dog beach. Kühlungsborn is always worth a visit. We really enjoyed it.

Campground with Some Drawbacks
A nice campground; the only downside for us was the layout of the sites where we were parked—you either looked at your own trailer or at the back of the person next to you. This made it difficult to socialize and share experiences.

A place can be this perfect
Everything was perfectly organized, with friendly staff from the front desk all the way down to the housekeeping staff; an excellent location right on the beach, yet only a few minutes away from the beach promenade and the “downtown” area. Fantastic restrooms, always spotlessly clean, with a supermarket and bakery right on the grounds. It doesn’t get any better than this.

For us, this is the best campground!
We’ve been going camping for at least one week a year for over 30 years. We were very impressed with Campingpark Kühlungsborn. If you book early enough, there’s even a designated plot available for larger tents. That gives you enough space for your car, the tent, and even a gazebo. The restroom facilities... are simply perfect and very nicely designed. We liked it so much that we’ve already booked our week there for the next two years, since the number of spots reserved exclusively for tents is limited. This campground is also primarily geared toward campers, camper vans, and RVs. The on-site service is great, and the staff are all very, very friendly. You absolutely must try the delicious fish sandwiches sold right at the beach entrance, and a visit to “Gerlando” is also well worth it. The convenience store right next to the main entrance at Norma is also great. The beach is very spacious and offers plenty of room for everyone. For us, this is the best campground!
