We had a spot where acorns were constantly falling from the tree. Because of that, we couldn’t get a good night’s sleep, and when the acorns weren’t hitting us, we could hear the neighbor’s roof making a loud noise. The entertainment... staff really tried to come up with activities for the kids. It was just a shame, for example, that there was a soccer tournament only for kids 10 and older. Our son is 7 and wasn’t allowed to play because of that. He was disappointed. An indoor playground would also have been nice. We’d probably come back without the kids. But only because the campground is close to the promenade. But there’s one thing I keep complaining about:
Your smooth paths make it far too easy for bicycles, scooters, and e-scooters (a disaster!!) to zip across the square quickly, noisily, and—by... now—at such high speeds that I consider an e-scooter ban to be an absolute priority.
During those two weeks, there wasn’t a single day when the four of us weren’t involved in near-accidents.
And none of them are willing to listen!! Complaining accomplishes absolutely nothing, because those young punks simply don’t care.
And they do it loudly… because they just ride off immediately and aren’t afraid of anything.
Next level: the whole thing happening at 2 a.m. with a horde of 9- to 15-year-olds and not a single person around who feels responsible for it!! Quiet hours!!
If you don’t get this under control, we’ll probably have to find another place to stay during peak season.
P.S.: I know a lot of people who feel the same way I do.
It’s just that nobody says anything.

Just as we have for the past five years, we were once again able to spend two wonderful weeks with you. We feel right at home with you every year and always look forward to spending our vacation here.
We’d like to give a very special shout-out to Tina from... the spa area. She does her job with so much heart, dedication, and attention to detail. Thanks to her, I was able to enjoy three wonderful spa treatments, each of which was something truly special. Thank you so much for that! 🥰
The housekeeping staff also deserves high praise. The restrooms and hygiene areas were always very clean and well-maintained. You can really tell how much work goes into that—thank you so much!
Another big thank you goes to the entertainment team, especially to your head entertainer, Schuchi. With his wonderful personality, he brought us a lot of joy, fun, and beautiful moments during the first week. Unfortunately, he wasn’t there during the second week, which we found very disappointing.
However, we’d also like to address an issue that unfortunately dampened our vacation somewhat: the sometimes very reckless riding of e-scooters on the campground.
Time and again, people rode across the campground at very high speeds, without showing sufficient consideration for children, pedestrians, or other campers. It was particularly annoying that some e-scooters were even being ridden at night without lights. In some cases, the scooters were even ridden all the way into the wash houses.
We also found the following to be very dangerous: In sandy areas, riders would sometimes intentionally accelerate rapidly or let the wheels spin, causing clouds of dust and stones to fly around. This can quickly become dangerous, especially with children on the grounds.
Perhaps it would be possible to pay a little more attention to this in the future and, if necessary, check the license plates—since many aren’t street-legal, meaning there’s no insurance coverage in the event of an accident—as well as riders under 14 years of age. It would also be helpful to inspect the e-scooters and remind riders of the rules and dangers. We’re confident that this will help create an even more pleasant and safer environment for all campers.
That is, however, really the only thing that bothered us a bit this year. Otherwise, our vacation with you was wonderful once again, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. ❤️
We’d therefore like to extend our heartfelt thanks to your entire team for the wonderful time we had, and we’re already looking forward to spending many more years with you in Kühlungsborn. 🥰
