Very quiet in the low season. Kungshamn, Smögen and Hunnebostrand within cycling distance. Bread rolls available at reception. Sanitary facilities and kitchens in several service buildings, all clean and good. E-charging station on site.

Good starting point for visiting Smögen and Hunnebostrand
An absolutely quiet site near Kungshamn in the off-season. The campsite is embedded in the rocks and is divided by them in many ways. Numerous mobile homes and permanent campers, especially on the rocks. There is a bathing area with boat hire right next to the site.

lots of space. very friendly and dedicated staff, wonderful location, store well stocked, restaurant ok. no teenage gangs:)

Hot shower costs extra. But not much.
Super in every respect
We would come here again and again and can recommend the place without reservation!

Great campsite in a wonderful location
I was on this site in the low season in September 2022. It is beautifully nestled in the archipelago. It was very quiet, the site and the sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained.
The store on the site was closed in the low season, but there is a Coop and an ICA supermarket in Kungshamn only about 3 km away.

I had a great time at this campsite and will definitely be back.

Wonderful place in August
We spent the last night of our vacation here. We were pleasantly surprised, the place was relatively empty. You can stand here with the door facing the road and don't feel so strung out. The pitches were large enough. Sanitary clean and tidy. Nothing to complain about. It was wonderfully quiet. No eternal... hustle and bustle in the evening either. Here you can also stay longer. There are great paths around the site for hiking. There is a bathing area like in the book. Also with a slide and jetty. There is also a sauna.

before the Swedes go on vacation
We discovered the site just before Midsommar and it was relatively empty, then fully booked on Midsommar and relatively empty again after the weekend. Everything is very clean and the campsite crew are very friendly. The highlight was watching the Germany-Sweden game in the campsite restaurant. Delicious food, nice service and feeling like friends among all the Swedes. We would love to come here again!

Cleanliness, but this is primarily due to the permanent campers!
It's questionable whether we'll show up here again
We are currently staying at this campsite, but are considering leaving early. The site itself is beautifully situated in a wonderful landscape and is also well to very well equipped. Unfortunately, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, especially in the combined sink/kitchen area. This is primarily... due to some of the permanent campers here. We complained about the cleanliness and were promised a remedy. An employee took a quick look and removed the worst traces such as food leftovers in several sinks, paper on the floor etc. Sorry, but efficient cleaning looks different. Apart from that, we have never seen any cleaning staff in the 2 days so far! Probably as a "punishment" for the complaint, they put a camper with a VW van right next to us, despite there being about 190 free pitches. Driver's door open, driver's door closed, wummmm ! Tailgate open, tailgate closed, wummmm ! Sliding door open, wummmm, sliding door closed, wummmmm! Other new arrivals are standing 3-4 rows behind us :-( We will certainly avoid this place in future and cannot recommend it with a clear conscience.

Wonderful location
We stayed at this campsite in the summer with two children (15 and 16) and a dog. It is very clean and the staff are very polite and courteous. There are mainly Swedish guests on this site. The landscape and the view around the site are simply wonderful. There is a swimming area with a trampoline, diving platform and slide. You can also take your dog for a swim in another part of the bay. There is a TV room. There is also a small fitness area.
