"An amazing experience - Again, an incredible stay where you only meet happy and fresh people. And not least the staff. Always time for a chat and not least that the area is animal-friendly :-). The maintenance and cleanliness in all the premises is top notch. Can only recommend a stay at this beautiful place. We will definitely come again. Thank you to Drejby Strand Camping.

"SUMMER HOLIDAYS AT THE Drejby campsite - All the staff at the campsite and the café were really friendly and nice. The outdoor pool was also a nice change and our granddaughter particularly liked the water slide. The whole site and the wash houses were always clean and tidy. The beach is great for swimming and SUPing and is something for young and old. Conclusion: we had a great vacation and will definitely come back again.

"Everything super July 2025 - We really liked it here. The children had a lot of fun. The pitch with a direct sea view was fantastic and well worth the money. We were even able to watch porpoises. Ideal for kiters/surfers.

"Sadly, No Longer a Place for Families to Feel Welcome - We’ve been coming to Drejby Strand Camping regularly for over five years, but this year marks our final visit. Unfortunately, the feeling of not truly being welcome has grown stronger with each passing year. Now it’s clear to us: we won’t be coming back. Despite booking a larger pitch to give our children a bit more space to play, even that seems unwelcome here. Children playing is clearly not appreciated – nor is listening to soft music at a reasonable volume or simply enjoying a relaxed time together. The relaxed “camping atmosphere” we used to love is gone. The reception on arrival was anything but warm. Right from check-in, we felt more like a burden than valued guests – a sentiment that continued throughout our stay. Staff seemed distant, unhelpful, and often downright annoyed. The only positive note is the beautiful location right by the sea – but sadly, even that is no longer enough to outweigh the many negatives. Luckily, Denmark has many other wonderful campsites where families are genuinely welcomed. From now on, we’ll start our summer adventures somewhere else – where we can feel at home. That said, we do want to highlight one true gem: the small café/shop on site is absolutely lovely – full of heart and care. It’s truly special and something we will genuinely miss 🥰

"Campsite very good, huts not recommended - The campsite made a very good impression on us right from the start. The reception speaks German and makes you feel welcome. Drejby Camping is really ideal for families with children. The sanitary facilities are very tidy, but you should go to the showers in good time if possible, otherwise, as often happened to us, you will only have cold water. The beach is wonderful, close by and not as crowded as on the island of Rügen, for example. We had rented a hut at this campsite, but we really only found the bare essentials there. As we have often rented similar properties on the Baltic Sea in Germany and the cabin on the campsite was by far the most expensive, it was very disappointing. We didn't even find a toaster there, which is normally standard. There were no fly screens on the windows either. But you can go mosquito hunting in the evening with a fly swatter, which is part of the inventory. Furthermore, there are no cupboards or sufficient hooks where you would normally put your things from your suitcase. But as these huts are designed for up to four people, I really wonder how this is supposed to work. Fortunately, we had good weather and there were only two of us. You won't find any leftover pepper, salt or other spices, which you would normally find everywhere from previous users, here. Well, that's just the way it is. But if you want to cook something there, you have to bring everything with you. We liked it there, but next time we'll look for somewhere else.

Welcome to Drejby Strand Camping. We are a 4-star campsite with modern facilities and a location right next to the water. The campsite is located on Als between the Baltic Sea and Hørup Sea and with direct access to the …beach. Experience a campsite with space for peace, fun and activities for the whole family. You can rent our cozy camping cabins or a standard pitch for your motorhome or camping tent. Go exploring in Southern Jutland and experience the beautiful nature and local culture. It is only 15 km from the square to the town of Sønderborg, where you can go on a shopping trip or experience local attractions such as Dybbøl Banke or Sønderborg Castle.
