"Small but nice - As there are unfortunately no pitches for motorhomes in this region, we opted for this campsite. We were pleasantly surprised. In the middle of the high season, the pitch for two adults, a pet and a vehicle over six meters long costs € 21. A clean site with friendly staff and first-class sanitary facilities. Can only be recommended. We would love to come back. Sigi and Hanna

"Well-equipped Cp in beautiful surroundings on the outskirts of Zambujeira - We stayed at the campsite at the beginning of April and it was always busy during our longer stay. The campsite is located on the outskirts of Zambujeira. The beaches, restaurants and shops are therefore within walking distance. The pitches are shady, vary in size and are not always well laid out. They are strictly divided into pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes (or a combination). They are mostly flat and separated from each other by vegetation. Electricity and water are available close to the pitches. The sanitary facilities are very well equipped and always in a very well-cleaned (and disinfected) condition. The water temperature can be regulated individually. The showers should not be used between midnight and 7am. Unfortunately, there was still no hot water at 7am during our stay. The waiting time for hot water - when it was available - was reasonable. There is a well-stocked minimarket on the campsite. Fresh bread from 8 am (or breakfast at the bar). The restaurant mainly offers ready meals or grilled food. For us, the campsite was the base camp for our tour on the Rota Vicentina (fishing route) along the Atlantic coast. We followed the advice of the campsite operator and didn't look for new accommodation every day, but instead used the very inexpensive cabs in the area to take us to the starting points of each stage. This was easier (and lighter with less luggage on our backs). Wifi is available at the campsite, but it's not great.

"One of the best CPs in Portugal - Everything is just right here, the friendliness at reception, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, a large supermarket that is open in the off-season. The restaurant and bar were also open.

Profil

Camping Zambujeira is located on the Portuguese Atlantic coast, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and the small town of Zambujeira do Mar. The campsite is quiet, green, and set on terraces. There are pitches for tents, caravans, …and motorhomes – some in the shade of trees, others in the sun. If you prefer a bit more comfort, you can stay in a bungalow or mobile home. On-site, you'll find everything you need for a relaxing holiday: a swimming pool with a kids’ area, a restaurant, a small bar, a shop with essentials, and clean sanitary facilities. Wi-Fi is available and dogs are welcome. The surrounding area is great for switching off. You can walk along the coast, swim in small coves, or simply enjoy the nature. There are also plenty of opportunities for surfing or cycling. And if you feel like it, you can check out the famous summer festival or explore the nearby villages.
