Super small pitch with lots of shade. Approach a bit steep and very narrow inside. However, the very nice site operators help very well with maneuvering and instructions. Direct private access to the lake is great and there is enough space for all guests. Water very clean and warm. The site is very clean and is cleaned several times a day. It rained continuously one day and yet the sanitary facilities were always very clean. We would love to come back

Restaurant is not so good. This was by far the worst pizza on our Italian vacation. We had to wait 15 minutes for a menu to order as there wasn't enough.
Nice little place
Everything has already been said about the advantages and disadvantages. We will be happy to come back with our Alkoven Mobil

Price performance is right. Clean, well-kept place. Very friendly people (manager, staff) Plenty of trees and hedges for shade and privacy. Dogs allowed. Clean beach, beautiful path along the lake etc

That we had to go home... You can only shower without a shower head because there's not enough pressure. It only drips out of the shower head. In an emergency, go over to the sanitary facilities to shower.
Warm, friendly and clean
Very friendly welcome from the manager and staff. They were very helpful when, for example, the faucet in the kitchen dripped or we had no gas/hot water because the gas went out. Bottle was changed immediately, problem with fuse fixed. Staff are very friendly and discreet, as is the camp dog...;0)
Everything... is clean and tidy. The beds are simple but very comfortable, bedding clean. The mobile homes are very cozy, with everything you need. The veranda is perfect for warm summer nights, with table and chairs to eat outside.
There are trees and bushes that provide shade and a little privacy. This makes the place very cozy. The lake is very close, the shore is clean and there is a romantic spot by the weeping willow by the lake. Shopping facilities nearby. It is quiet and even the train passing through does not disturb (in the mobile homes). We were very pleased that the boss (the dog) and two employees said goodbye to us in such a friendly way. We would love to come back.

I liked that you could easily drive over to the peninsula and that the water was so clean it was also good that there was a diving board and a pier at the water! 80% of the campsite is German! Dist good because you could have a good conversation in German. The restaurant is great and the sanitary building is also clean! It's great for the kids! Sometimes there are also small table tennis tournaments!

Actually, the only thing that wasn't so good was that there was no toilet paper in the toilets!

It's great for children and teenagers! The staff and the owner family are very nice and the restaurant is also very good!

The place is very small and it is partly narrow, who does not mind has a place with direct beach access, the staff is very friendly the sanitary facilities are old but clean. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right.

Recommended.
The campsite is right on the water and is recommended for those seeking peace and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We experienced this when my husband had to go to hospital and we received all the support we needed from the campsite.

Beautifully situated campsite
We reserved a pitch right on the lake during the Easter vacation and it worked out great. The site is relatively small and there are also mobile homes and permanent campers there. Fortunately, the tourist pitches are right by the lake. There is a very nice Italian restaurant in the middle of the site,... which also offers very good pizzas. The site is owner-managed and well-maintained, and there is always a competent and friendly contact person available if you have any questions or problems. The campsite was packed and pleasantly quiet during Easter. There was even a group of young people staying in the mobile homes and you didn't notice. The site is ideal for families with small children, and a new small playground has just been set up. The beach section is quite small, but there is a small lakeside promenade right next to the campsite, which is very pretty and great for young children to cycle or scoot along. The view is just great. We will be happy to come again, but not in the high season, which would probably be tight. As is often the case in Italy, the pitches are not too big.

The sanitary facilities are in need of renovation and the hot water for flushing is very inconvenient.
Small place with very nice beach location
The place is family run. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The pizzeria is good, you don't have to drive. Supermarket in the village, walking distance approx. 600m.

We looked at several places on Lake Orta. In our opinion, the Capo Verde site is the most beautiful. The tourist pitches are pleasantly located on the shore and most of them offer a beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding mountains. The sanitary facilities are outdated but well maintained. The restaurant serves excellent pizza at very moderate prices.
