"Disappointed after years - We have been coming to this campsite for over 10 years and have always enjoyed it. Our disappointment is all the greater this time. One of the main reasons why we booked this site again was the advertised gym. The gym is still shown on the website, including photos, and advertised as being available for use. On site, however, we discovered that it had already been demolished. We were not informed of this either before arrival or at check-in. When we approached reception about this, they did not help us. Instead, we were told to contact the management by email. Unfortunately, the management did not show any concessions or suggestions for solutions. For us, a gym is an important part of a vacation and a decisive criterion when choosing a campsite. We therefore feel that we were given misleading information and disappointed. In addition, there was considerable construction noise during our stay. The sanitary facilities also do not meet the standard that one would expect based on the advertising. Modernized facilities are advertised, but many wash houses are still in an older condition. The advertised diving school was also not available. We had to drive all the way to Simuni for diving activities, which was an additional expense. On a positive note, we would like to highlight the prices in the restaurant and at the bar. These are fair and reasonable, which is unfortunately not a given these days. It is a pity that long-time regular guests receive so little support and understanding when they make justified criticism. We hope that the information on the website will be updated in future and that guests will be informed transparently about such changes before their arrival.

"The main thing is expensive - The water in the sanitary building is either freezing cold or boiling hot, or it doesn't come out at all when someone is showering next to you. after several complaints, nothing has happened, except that I was told that this building has not yet been renovated. Water connection at the caravan doesn't work either, we have no water at the pitch. unbearable noise from Zrce Beach until 5am. Unfriendly staff who prefer to tell you exactly how to park your car or harass you at the barrier before taking care of the important things.

"Camping - Very nicely located campsite with large pitches both sunny and shady. Very annoying the extremely many dogs on the place and although there are designated beaches for dogs, some do not stick to it. My suggestion to the campsite would be to add the pitches for these people to the designated dog beaches and make the other part of the campsite dog-free. This would help everyone and everyone would have a relaxing vacation.

"Sea beach family camping - We spent our family vacation here and had a very nice time. The Bar Val with the view of the sea is wonderful. The sports facilities are great. Our pitch was shady and large. It would be nice if all tents were included in the pitch price. The campsite is centrally located. Ideal for teenagers. There is a train connection. Unfortunately the connection costs money. The only thing that stressed us out a bit were the paper cards without which you can't get to the campsite. A different system would be nice here. Thanks to the cleaning ladies who cleaned constantly

"Actually a nice campsite, if it weren't for the sneaky rip-offs - If you like a large campsite with animation and correspondingly loud noise, this is the place for you. The reception was cool and impersonal. The reserved pitch was free and sufficient in size. When we left the site with the scooter we had problems re-entering. We were told that the scooter had to be registered and then paid for accordingly. In the pre-season €3 and then the fee rises to €6.50 per day! This has never happened to me in 40 years of camping that you don't have to pay for anything. The much-praised Wi-Fi is a disaster. The sanitary facilities are quite good if it weren't for the black mold on the washbasins, sinks, etc. Black mold would be. The management of the campsite still has a lot to learn. We cannot recommend the campsite and will not come back. If you have a scooter you should follow it.

An unforgettable landscape, the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic, countless coves and crystal-clear sea – all these are reasons why Camping Straško is your ideal holiday destination. The campsite is located on the coast in a beautiful bay and …extends over 57 hectares of oak forest and olive groves. This makes it one of the largest campsites on the Adriatic, but also in Croatia. The majority of the pitches are located below the unique Dalmatian forest, which provides the necessary shade in summer and makes camping an unforgettable experience for every one of our guests. The pitches are spread over three zones and have an area of up to 140 m². Each pitch has connections for electricity, water, drainage and satellite TV. The campsite is not fully parcelled out, so guests can also stay in the NON-PARCELLED area, which is only equipped with electricity, while water is only available in the sanitary facilities. Straško campsite has a total of 13 sanitary facilities that are designed to the highest standards to meet all our guests' needs, including children's sanitary facilities, a changing room for babies, cubicles for families and a bathroom for people with disabilities. They are located in the immediate vicinity of the pitches and the campsite in the non-parcelled zone. A beautiful beach with a wide range of entertainment, a sports centre, a baby room, a children's club, a small farm with native farm animals – all this offers you and your little ones an unforgettable holiday. The campsite restaurants offer a wide range of dishes, including made-to-order meals, ready meals, grilled dishes and specialities gently prepared in a pan under a cast-iron lid in the embers of an open fireplace (stone oven). For those who want to relax in the pool, there is an outdoor pool right on the beach. A children's pool with a slide has been designed for your little ones, located next to the children's club and playground, for great water fun. While your little ones are being entertained, you can really relax on the newly laid out sunbathing beaches and comfortable deckchairs right by the pool. Camping Straško is an ideal holiday destination for a family holiday, entertainment and relaxation, where you can truly and deservedly relax in the middle of the summer heat.

Great transport connections make this destination easily accessible and within the reach of numerous landmarks and cultural manifestations throughout the coast. BY CAR You can reach the island of Pag by road from several directions because the island is connected …to the land by ferry and by a bridge. If you are looking to avoid the ferry ride and reach Pag using a bridge, and you are coming from the direction of Zagreb, then you drive on the A1(highway) to the exit POSEDARJE from where the road signs will lead you to the island of Pag. You will then cross the bridge and just follow the main road all the way to the city of Novalja. If you are coming from the direction of Dalmatia then you also drive on the A1 to the exit POSEDARJE and you just continue to follow the road signs to the city of Novalja. All the traffic info you may need can be found on the website of the Croatian Autoclub. BY FERRY The island of Pag is also reachable by ferry. If you are coming from Zagreb via A1(highway) then you should go to the exit ŽUTA LOKVA and from there take the coastal road heading south. Ferry port Prizna is only 50 km from there via the city of Senj. If you are coming from the direction of Rijeka then you have a 110km long coastal road ahead of you till you reach the ferry port. After you dock to the Žigljen port on island of Pag, just follow the main road for the next 10 km until you reach Novalja and from there follow the road signs for camp Straško. You can find the ferry schedule on website of Jadrolinija. BY BUS You can reach the city of Novalja by regular bus services from Zagreb, Rijeka and Zadar. For more information go to Arriva or Antoniotours. BY PLANE Zadar airport is less than 100km away from the camp and it’s the fastest and the nearest choice.
