We were passing through with a caravan, 2 adults and 2 dogs. The campsite is in a residential area, which is not necessarily a disadvantage. The reception spoke German and was very friendly and helpful. The site is overgrown with many large, old trees, which makes a dark impression in places. The pitches... are separated from each other by bushes. However, the pitches are very small. As we were there in the absolute low season (early March), we were able to choose a pitch. We had one of about 6 "large" pitches. Our caravan is about 7.50m long including the drawbar. It just fitted on the pitch. So if you have a longer vehicle, you should avoid the camping site. The car next to it would have been too small for an awning (we didn't need it for one night, of course). So for larger caravans or motorhomes, call in advance and ask if there is space available. The sanitary facilities are not particularly modern, but clean, which is the main thing. This is a building with one entrance. The men's and women's cubicles (WC and showers) are separated by color, but not spatially, and the washbasin area is unisex. Water for the caravan had to be fetched at the back in the cellar (it was still minus temperatures). I can't say whether there are other water points in summer. The washing machine and the sink for the chemical toilet are also in the cellar. A standing height of approx. 1.70 m in the cellar was not ideal for me (1.90 m). The price was €17.50 including electricity, which is perfectly acceptable. To summarize: Very good for passing through if the caravan is not too big.

Overnight stay in the direction of Spain
We only used this campsite for a stopover after a trip to Spain. Very friendly and German-speaking reception, small kiosk, older but clean sanitary facilities, large shady pitch (reserved weeks before, no other pitch was free), small pool, good price/performance ratio. Unfortunately no restaurants open nearby as it was summer vacation. Highly recommended for an overnight stay

We stayed for a week at this quiet campsite on the outskirts of Heimsbrunn. The reception was very friendly and uncomplicated. There were shops about 800 meters away in the village. The sanitary facilities were heated, hot water in the showers included, the facilities a bit dated, but overall ok. A very... good base for a short stay and exploring the region. Also suitable as a stopover on the way south, as the highway is only a few kilometers away. If you have low expectations and appreciate peace and simplicity, this is the place for you.

We stayed here one night in September 2012. We were two adults and three children under 8 year old. We had one tent and a car, we have paid about 17 EUR. I think this campsite is very good option for overnight on the road to France, Spain or just to the west. There are very nice and heat toilets and... showers, it is quiet cheap. But only the problem was to find this campsite in the dark of the night (we arrived here about 9 o clock pm. We had a luck, bec. director in reception said us that they are just closing the main door.

Very friendly welcome from the owner herself, spacious pitches, clean and comfortable accommodation, free hot showers, very clean toilets with toilet paper, swimming pool not huge or deep, suitable for children and adults who want to swim in complete safety, quiet but friendly place where there is life... and an excellent atmosphere between campers, and where the rest of the residents is respected, petanque tournaments and board games every week.the owner, whose smile and good humor seem to be her watchwords, is particularly attentive and goes to great lengths to ensure the well-being of her guests.The campsite has a covered cyber wifi area.In my opinion, and I speak from experience, camping parc la chaumière in Heimsbrunn represents excellent value for money, for people with or without children, looking for a reasonably-sized, quiet, well-kept campsite, set in greenery and close to many points of interest, such as the automobile museum, the railway museum, the electropolis museum, Mulhouse zoo and the eco-museum. There's a hypermarket in Dornach, about 6 km away, as well as a shopping center.In short, a campsite to recommend without hesitation.

We arrived late in the evening and were given a very friendly welcome. Small campsite, very quiet. We would stay here again at any time.
