"Camping in the middle of palm trees - The booking went without complications, but check-in before 2pm was not possible, although staff were already present and our seat was free. There is also no designated check-in area. So we were totally in the way and had to maneuver with the caravan because a construction site vehicle wanted to get in. There is a barrier and a check card to open the barrier. The pitch allocated to us was large enough and centrally located, so it wasn't far to the sanitary building. The path to the showers and toilets leads through the washing-up area and then you have to go into the cellar. A somewhat impractical solution. In my opinion, there are too few WCs. There are 2 pure WCs, 2 pure showers and 3 combined WC/showers. Not enough for the number of campers and I actually had to wait in the morning until a toilet was free. Showering in the evening was then possible without waiting. The croaking of the frogs and crowing of the rooster didn't bother us. You can hear the traffic a bit during the day but it was quiet at night. The site has lots of plants, including exotic ones, which I really liked. The campers were all nice and people still say hello here ;-) I think many people have been coming here for years - they know each other. We felt the price for this time was a bit high. If you paid in cash, it would have been a few € cheaper. I've never had that anywhere before. Basically, we liked it here, even if the sani was a bit old-fashioned, but it was always clean. The location and the proximity to Bolzano and Lake Kaltern is of course a dream. The pool was covered on one day because it was a bit cloudy. It was then open when it was sunny. There is currently construction work going on at the hotel, which can be a nuisance. All in all, it was lovely.

"Beautiful idyllic campsite - It was an all-round wonderful vacation at Camping Markushof. The staff were very friendly. The pitches are spacious and electricity is included in the price.

"Super campsite in South Tyrol - We have visited the site several times and have always been impressed. The surrounding pass roads offer everything a motorcyclist could wish for. Nearby shopping facilities with very good opening hours, even on Sundays. Good quality meat and sausage products. Bakery across the road, but closed on Sundays. Train connection to Bolzano - Merano, many trains included in the guest pass.

"South Tyrol... and the Markushof is always worth a visit. - The Markushof is conveniently located in beautiful South Tyrol, approx. 17 km from Bolzano. A great, small place with hotel and apartments, restaurant and pool. Very nice staff! At first I thought the sanitary facilities were a bit too small, but there were never any crowds or waiting times. The walk to the toilet and shower through the scullery wasn't quite my thing. Likewise the carpet in the washroom by the washbasins or right up to the shower doors. Emptying the cassette toilet could take place in a room, for example. Right next to the street, even right next to a small parking space.... A matter of taste. Auer and nice restaurants are just a few steps away. There are plenty of leisure activities, great. We will definitely be back!!!!

"Quiet place to relax - Good location for excursions to Cavalese and for wine tasting. We liked it better this time than in October last year - perhaps also due to the pitch next to the vineyard. Composition of the public seems to vary with the season: fewer senior citizens this time, but some young couples. Attractive planting, sanitary facilities always clean, friendly staff. Bakery within walking distance. We will probably come back in the fall.

Welcome to campsite Markushof, an exclusive retreat for adult guests in Ora near Lake Caldaro. Our unique concept aims to provide our guests with a peaceful and rejuvenating environment. Therefore, accommodation for individuals under 16 years of age is not …possible at our campsite. We strive to create an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility, allowing our adult guests to fully enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. We hope that your stay with us will be a special retreat in South Tyrol. Feel free to leave your car behind, as you can easily reach the best starting points for various excursions by bus and train. Throughout your entire stay, our guests receive the Museumobil Card free of charge. This card grants you unlimited rides on all public transportation (bus/train/cable cars) and free entry to around 80 museums and collections throughout South Tyrol. We look forward to providing you with a rejuvenating stay amidst the nature of South Tyrol. PS: Please understand that dogs and other pets are not allowed at our campsite.
