    Evaluation of the CP
    Unfortunately, the CP did not get a lease extension and will be closed at the end of 2025, which we, a couple with a dog, very much regret.

    Beautiful campsite close to the beautiful town of Dokkum
    Nicely located campground fine facility, within walking distance of Dokkum. The toilet facilities were well cleaned during our visit but there is overdue maintenance so the facilities do not all work correctly. Telephone contact was friendly but reception at the campsite was a bit surly. But nevertheless we enjoyed spending a week there and enjoyed the surroundings.

    Close to the city
    Very close to the city with nice grass pitches, a bit noisy during the day but quiet from 11pm. Unfortunately too few toilets and showers for the size of the pitch, washing dishes can take a little longer (as there are only 2 basins), you can pre-order bread rolls at reception, but we didn't use this as you can quickly cycle to the bakery in Dokkum.

    Mooie camping als je Dokkum wilt bezoeken en mooie fietstochten wil maken in de omgeving.
