    Pure idyll
    Great place right on the banks of the Dordogne. Some of the pitches are directly adjacent to the river.
    The pitches are very large and the ground is mainly grass. The owner is very friendly. Sanitary facilities are quite old, but clean and there is hot water everywhere. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you.
    In the low season there were 6 or 7 other campers besides us.

    Great place above the Maltas near Argentat
    Very nice spot directly above the Malpas, a rapid in the Dordogne. You can often watch groups of kayakers navigating it more or less successfully. You just have to get used to the noise of the rapids day and night. However, the sanitary facilities are getting on in years; it's a long way to the village and there are no services (at least at Whitsun, i.e. off-season) on site.
