Positive: 1. good location for excursions e.g. to Canterbury or London 2. clean 3. large pitches 4. friendly staff Negative: 1. hardly any shade 2. no baked goods in the morning, nearest bakery approx. 3 km away 3. arrival only until 6 pm, later only with advance notice. No staff present at night. 4.... practically no leisure facilities on the site: no playground, bar, restaurant, simply nothing at all 5. the caravans must be positioned exactly on the pitches due to fire regulations, otherwise there will be trouble with the warden. Turning the caravan so that you can have breakfast in the sun in the morning is forbidden.

a place of the caravan club. Very friendly wardens. The site is not huge and is very conveniently located close to the M20, although you don't notice the traffic. The site is not far from Maidstone, pretty much exactly between Dover and London. Leeds Castle is just a stone's throw away, and for garden... lovers Sissinghurst is only 25 km away. The site is of a high English standard, is clean and its location makes it a good base camp for a stay in Kent.
