Profil

You visit this campsite for the beautiful views of Southwest Friesland. And the name says it all: water is never missing at Aquacamping De Rakken. From your pitch, you can watch small boats sail by across the Heegermeer. The waterfront … pitches also include a mooring for your own boat. There is also a marina (blue flag) with a trailer ramp for small boats and the possibility to rent an electric boat or sailboat. You are also in the lively centre of Woudsend in no time. Breakfast by the water Want to wave to the passing boats while having breakfast? Then choose a pitch by the water. You can also moor your own (rental) boat here. There are also standard pitches that are not directly on the water. All pitches are partly bordered by trees and hedges. The pitches for mobile homes are located slightly outside the campsite, on a site that is closed off with a barrier. These pitches are partly paved; you park your motorhome on the gravel and there is space for tables and chairs on the grass. Different types of accommodation If you haven't brought your own caravan or motorhome, rent a holiday home or a luxurious wooden hikers' cabin. Arts and crafts in the water sports building For the children, the animation team organises the necessary entertainment during the high season. In the morning you can do handicrafts in the water sports building and in the afternoon it's time for games. Every Wednesday, the animation team moves to the town hall and the day's activities are tackled in a great way. From Wednesday evening to Friday evening, you don't have to be bored either, because then the animation team has everything prepared to give you a great evening.
