Anmerkung zu den Duschkabinen : der Boden ist sehr glatt , das Wasser läuft aus dem Duschbereich in den Trockenbereich ,unangenehm..Handwerklich... schlecht gemacht.. dagegen im Sanitärgebäude 1, Boden rutschfest und durch den handwerklich gut gemachten Boden u. die Duschevorhänge bleibt der Umkleidebereich trocken. The location is good—we were there with our dog and had easy access to the forest; the dispensers and disposal stations for dog waste bags are exemplary. The surrounding area is... also a relaxing place to explore by bike. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. It’s very accessible, as the front desk is staffed continuously throughout the day. The small shop also has a good selection at reasonable prices. The restaurant comes highly recommended—good food at reasonable prices, and you can even take your meal to go. They provide reusable containers for a deposit—great!

Budite prvi! - TRTina R.Septembar 2026PozitivnoWell-organized, very clean facilityNegativnoLack of privacy on the sidesCompletely satisfied with my first experienceIt was the first time my dog and I had stayed at a campground, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. However, we were only there for two nights at the end of the season, and quite a few sites were empty, even though the campground was still quite busy. Check-in and check-out were quick... and hassle-free, and the staff was friendly. The grounds are very clean and well-maintained, and in some places quite nicely landscaped (e.g., the little village with the vacation cabins); however, I would have liked more privacy on the site itself. The size (comfort site) was perfectly fine, and the hedge at the back was high and dense enough, but the ones on the sides were very low and completely open. The hedges could be taller there (maybe that’s actually the plan), otherwise you really can see right into each other’s business—especially with a dog, it’s usually more pleasant to have some privacy. The surroundings are quite nice for walking the dog. The booking process was straightforward and went smoothly. The campground was clean and tidy, and we’d especially like to highlight the food service—the food was excellent, and everything else went very well there, too.
However, we weren’t too happy... with the booking policy. We wanted to stay from Friday through Sunday, but due to an event in Soltau, we had to book the campsite starting Thursday for a total of three nights. As a result, we had to pay for an extra night on the campsite, even though we didn’t arrive until Friday. On the bright side, at least we weren’t charged any per-person fees for that unused night. Since, as far as we could tell, there were still vacant sites available during our stay, we found this policy somewhat difficult to understand.
Apart from that, we were very satisfied with our stay and felt right at home at the campground. The restaurant is self-service and serves good food. The store has fresh bread rolls available without having to order in advance.
