Well-visited site by the lake, kitchen (covered, closed building) with gas stove, sanitary facilities in good order (with many guests - queue!), tickets for bus and bus tours can be purchased at the reception and you can charge your own electrical appliances in small lockers for a fee; kiosk/restaurant... available Perfect location to stay for several days - explore the lake, volcanic crater Hverfjall, crater lake Viti and the entire Krafla area, wonderful hike (a good 14km) from Krafla back to the campsite along or only on lava Cost for 2 people, tent, 2 nights - 6000 isk
