Wheel chocks are useful as the campsite is somewhat uneven and sloping.
We were still missing towel and coat hooks in the rented bathroom.

With accommodation costing 40 euros, showering should be included. Regardless of this, I find 2 minutes per 50 cents shower time very sporty.

Conditionally recommendable
WLan should be free of charge, but I would be happy to pay a little more for the overnight stay. Showers too. All the sometimes high extra costs are a deterrent.
Positive: 19 euros for the final cleaning of the private sanitary fully ok.
Negative: heating power of the mirror not particularly high

Trampoline facility is getting on in years. Renovation would be desirable.

You can save the money for the cold, uncomfortable and not recommendable toilet/shower cubicle at the pitch. Instead, enjoy the premium fries in the Harzcore restaurant on site!
The location is very good for exploring the northern Harz and the staff at reception are very friendly.

Again and again
Very nice place. Lots of nature and a very large site. Everyone very nice and very good restaurant. We stayed here for the 3rd time and are booking again for next year.

Hello,
First of all the positive:
- The staff are very nice
- The bread roll prices and those of the store are really okay.
- The restaurant is good, we visited it one evening.
- The offer for "small" children is good.
- The toilets are clean.
- The facilities for washing up are good.
- Guest cards for... free bus rides and discounts in the area

But now to what we found negative:
We were on the right-hand side of the pitch, which is a disadvantage.
- The pitches are almost all sloping, making it difficult to align the caravan.
- There is only one wash house and that is on the other side.
- The lighting in the toilet was out of order the whole time (according to the notice, this has been the case for some time)
- The internet is very poor, to non-existent - as is the WLAN (3-4 hotspots and the problem is solved)

We also know the place in Dransfeld and the "concept" of the Regenbogen seems to be the same.
If you don't expect anything or don't need much, you're in good hands here. Sufficient for a long weekend, for a longer vacation a clear no!

Everything you need for a relaxed camping vacation is on site.

Washing machine without app function would be nice or you should ensure reception in the basement.
Bad Harzburg
The campsite has everything you need to relax for a few days. There is a bus stop right next to the campsite.
We personally didn't like the laundry facilities as we had to download an app for this (poor reception in the laundry room). It wouldn't have been possible without it. Otherwise everything was very clean and well maintained. The campsite itself is not the most modern, which we personally didn't mind at all.

We were disappointed
We had booked a pitch with a private bathroom. Unfortunately, these pitches are the worst in terms of location. We were surrounded by tall trees and therefore had no sun and lots of leaves around us (it was the end of October). The sauna is disproportionately expensive at €20 per person and is only open until 6pm. The staff were very nice. But we won't be back.

Not recommended
In general, we are disappointed. We have been to regenbogencamp several times and it was always very nice.
Not this time.
There was neither animation nor anything else nice for children.
The trampoline has been broken for ages and is not repaired, just like the pool.
Even if you want to go out for a... meal, you have to go to the next town because the restaurant is deserted.
The next thing is, there is no barrier
and so you can expect car noise all night.
And that's exactly how it was. People were driving and parking after midnight
Not to mention the truck noise, which was extreme from 6am.
So, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Nice playground, everything important is there. Some of the facilities are a bit older but clean. There is also a children's pool. Showers cost 50 cents.

Altogether recommendable!
Overall, the place is recommendable. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and clean. The pitches are also fine. Unfortunately, the restaurant is permanently closed and the playgrounds need a little more maintenance (trampoline out of order and plants growing through the jumping net). The outdoor pool has also been out of use for some time.

Great vacation in the Harz Mountains
Nice campsite, nice staff, delicious bread rolls in the morning! Toilets/showers were clean!
Restaurant closed due to staff! We felt very happy and comfortable.

Beautiful vacation resort
Very nice exclusive motorhome pitch. Nice private bathroom. Nice clean sanitary facilities. Unfortunately the restaurant, swimming pool and sauna were closed.

Camping vacation
Camping was very nice and quiet, it was clean. Just sad that the pool was out of use until 30 degrees and the trampoline was closed and already overgrown with weeds.
Fortunately, we had a pitch with its own bathroom and toilet, for the campers who did not book this, have a long way to the nearest toilet or shower. But on the whole we were satisfied, staff very friendly, will come again.

Still upside potential
We stayed at this campsite for a short vacation. Very nice staff on the phone and also directly at reception. We had reserved a pitch with our own rental bathroom and found this very practical. On the newer part of the site there is no sanitary building for the simple pitches, this should be urgently... reconsidered and changed for the future. You have to cross the small road to the existing sanitary building (clean, but also a bit outdated), not so nice for children.
From the place you have many possibilities to explore the Harz, whether on foot, by bike, by bus (free of charge for guests) or by car.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to illness and we were unable to try it out.
Conclusion: A great starting point for exploring the Harz Mountains.

We don't have any previous experience.
Ikke særlig venlig imødetagelse ved ankomst. We are not perfect in Turkish, but that was in another language, e.g. English.
I don't want to love the sauna room - we can't love it.
Mostly the wifi connection.
It was a long, dark pool. Den var en af grundene til,... vi havde valgt jer.
We were looking for a quiet place among the other campers. As there was not enough space.
The best thing was the toilet and bath. Fine forhold.
