But if you lift the toilet seats, everything’s covered in s………. The puddle in the shower had almost dried up by the second day. The parking spaces are on concrete slabs, so they’re firm and a bit dusty. Water is only available for Comfort sites. Everyone else has to fetch water. So fill up your tank first, then head to a standard site!😂 No cash accepted A wide, open area—if you like wind (and there’s plenty of it), it’s fine for you. Very little greenery But a lot of trash and a foul smell coming from the overflowing trash containers But this is just my impression and yes, there are spelling mistakes in the textI'm off again after two daysI can't say I was very disappointed—the weather got worse, and my trip to the restroom wasn't exactly pleasant either—but the fact that the restaurants aren't operating the way I expected (you have to make a reservation to eat out, and the place is empty) isn't a big deal.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. It says "Cleaning between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m." on the sign outside, but then someone comes, takes out the trash bags, and leaves without cleaning a thing! - HBHeiko B.junij 2026Pozitivno- Very clean! - Very spacious sites with plenty of room between them - Very modern restroom facilities - Yet very affordableNegativno- The ground is also covered with gravel at the campsitesThis is what modern camping is all about :-DWe paid just €17 for two motorcycles and a tent, so we were understandably skeptical about the quality.
But the campground is one of the best we’ve seen so far :-D
The restrooms were very clean and very modern, which is always an issue at many campgrounds. The only downside was that there were no paper... towels to dry our hands. But at least there were hand dryers, even though they’re not exactly known for being very hygienic.
The showers were also very clean, spacious, and very affordable.
Unlike almost every other campground we know, the campsites were truly spacious and surprisingly far apart. You’re used to those cramped, chicken-coop-like conditions at most places.
The only downside we noticed was the ground at the campsite. It consisted of gravel with very sparse vegetation and was extremely compacted. Driving in tent stakes was a real struggle.
Neutral: Upon our arrival, the PIN code sent to us by email didn’t work at the gate, despite our confirmed reservation. And since there was no staff at the front desk, we had no choice but to squeeze past the gate on our motorcycles.

Bodite prvi! - KMKerstin M.junij 2026PozitivnoJust everything...NegativnoBookings can only be made through the app or online...Our Second Vacation at the Boddenblick CampgroundThis was our second time staying at the campground with our RV... once in 2025 and once in 2026... The campground is nice and quiet... The restrooms are new and very clean... When showering, you have to stand right up against the wall... to reach the water stream... Washing and rinsing your hair is no... problem... you just have to press the showerhead more often... since it has a built-in water-saving mode... But the showers are free...
The mini-shop supplies us with fresh rolls every day... which can be ordered via the app by 10:00 PM the day before... There’s also a small selection of dairy products... reading material... beverages... drugstore items... etc. Payment is by debit card only... The restaurant next door... on the campground grounds... hosts various events... e.g., Schnitzel Night... meaning all-you-can-eat schnitzel... spare ribs night... etc. The food at the restaurant is sooooo delicious... we highly recommend it.... It’s a good idea to reserve a table via the app or at the front desk... The campground staff are very friendly and helpful... We were there with two dogs (Bernese Mountain Dog mixes)... Poop bags are no problem... they’re hanging outside the dishwashing area... Dogs are also no problem... they just have to be kept on a leash... From the campground, it’s great to go for walks in nature or ride a bike... We really enjoyed our vacation... and hope... to see you again next year...

The natural swimming pool and the loungers around it are nice, but the pool is freezing cold. For us it was a cloudy 20-25 degrees, so it was bearable, but when the sun... is burning, I imagine it's much too hot there without shade, and to our delight the mosquitoes were limited compared to Zingst.
