Pros: The campground looks modern. It’s located so that you can quickly (10 min.) bike to the city center. The restroom facilities looked modern. Waste separation is available. Electricity and 2 wastewater connections are available.
Negativno
NEGATIVE: Despite having made a reservation 3–4 weeks in advance, our campsite was right next to the playground. It doesn’t get quiet on the playground until around 10:30 or 11:00 p.m. at the earliest. The campsites are on a slope and need to be leveled. The restrooms and washrooms are cleaned ONLY irregularly and at long intervals (photos). In the men’s section, the two urinals were completely missing, and out of 6 toilets, 3 were locked!!! (photos) Morning traffic jams!!! Especially bad at site number 6 There’s a warning sign at the entrance to the campground—do not leave valuables in your vehicle A locked mountain bike was stolen from us overnight; our neighbors’ front vehicle area was ransacked There are signs indicating camera surveillance—we saw ONE at the reception desk In conversations with other campers, there were reports of dangerous conditions in southern Sweden, Gothenburg, and also regularly at campgrounds Since we had to go to the police to file a report, we extended our stay by one night Comment from the smiling receptionist: “Supply and demand...” The nights before were 550 SEK, then 850 SEK!!! Not a pleasant experience!
An experience that included a theft!
Given its location and proximity to the city center, the campground seems appealing.
Unfortunately, it appears that "visits" by outsiders to the campground at night are currently occurring quite frequently.
Proper surveillance would greatly improve safety for campers.

Good place for Gothenburg
A good place to explore Gothenburg! Friendly reception.
Sanitary was cleaned regularly and was in very good condition. The supply and disposal for motorhomes was very good! A separate room with a water hose for fresh water! Very good. The disposal of the chemical toilet is also very good! Camperclean and good rooms!

Very friendly reception and easy check-in. Very nice service building, always super clean. Two charging stations for electric cars directly on site. Forest for dog walking right next door. Surprisingly quiet despite city location. Pitches with asphalt surface and lawn next to it.
Negativno
The paths between the opposite pitches are quite narrow, so parking with a long caravan can be difficult.
beautiful campsite close to the city
Due to its location, the campsite is ideal for exploring Gothenburg and is well connected by public transport. Nevertheless, the site is surprisingly quiet.

Long distances to the water tap and wastewater disposal point
Conveniently located for visits to Gothenburg
Friendly welcome and good information at check-in.
Pitch was ok, but you had to fetch the drinking water
from the sanitary building some distance away, and you also had to walk further to dispose of the gray water.
Showers and electricity were included in the price.
Sanitary facilities were clean, but... not sufficient for the size of the campsite.
Kiosk available with bread roll service.
The good streetcar connection to the city center is unbeatable. The tram stop is on the street directly below the campsite. Tickets can be purchased via an app on the internet.

solid campsite
Very nice city campsite.
Several small meadows for tents, cars are only a few steps away at the edge of the respective meadow, I can't understand the many negative comments in this regard.
The streetcar stop is within walking distance, so you are quickly in the city and at the popular sightseeing points....
The sanitary facilities are clean, modern and available in sufficient numbers.
All in all, a great starting point if you arrive in Gothenburg by ferry.

Great place close to the city
The location is ideal for visiting Gothenburg and the Liseberg amusement park. The streetcar is within walking distance and has very good connections to the city. The campsite itself was very clean, including the sanitary facilities. As we were only there in August, it was quiet and not at all crowded. There is no store, but there is a bread roll service, which was perfectly adequate for us. The staff were friendly and very accommodating.

Perfectly located near the streetcar. Very expensive (SEK 480), asphalt surface often not straight. Very noisy and someone is always driving somewhere. Life on the site early in the morning. Just big city camping.

Beautiful city campsite
The place is really ok for a city campsite. Good, friendly reception, well-maintained pitches, sanitary facilities also OK. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are overloaded in the morning, as everywhere when the pitches are largely occupied. Everything is well organized. The price of 33€ is not... cheap, but considering the proximity to the city, I have paid more for similar, poor pitches (Stockholm). The streetcar station is 100m from the site.

Quite expensive place, no place without reservation in summer
Excellent location for Gothenburg sightseeing tour, sanitary facilities clean and good. Pitch is very expensive. When we were there, there was a concert in the nearby stadium, so it wasn't quiet until later. But that's not the site's fault. Download rate of the WLAN extremely low. There were probably too many people online.

Beautiful city camping
Stayed 2 nights in Lisebergsbyn. The site is relatively easy to reach from the highway. Tickets for public transport are best bought at reception and then you can take the streetcar into the city or the ferries to the archipelago. Ha that rhymes. It was a nice stay. Unfortunately a bit expensive.

A good town square in a beautiful green location
Not every campsite in a big city has so much greenery and is so well maintained. We stayed there for 2 days (nights) and felt quite comfortable. The connection with the streetcar "on the doorstep" to go sightseeing in Gothenburg is brilliant. We were impressed by the friendliness of the reception and... the always clean service building. Bread roll service and even a breakfast buffet is offered. WLAN is good and free of charge. Our request for a pitch close to the sanitary facilities was met in full. The asphalted pitch with grass in front was perfect and level. A supermarket is just a few minutes' walk away.

Sloping pitches, long distances, very high price
Expensive space with weak infrastructure
I can only agree with the previous descriptions. Only the WLAN works better than on other pitches. You sometimes have to walk a long way to fetch and empty water. Some of the pitches are so sloping (asphalted) that nothing works without a wedge. Also, unlike many other campsites, it is not possible to choose a pitch. Reception may look like a hotel, but check-in seems to be complicated - it takes a long time.

central but quiet
Stayed at this site for two nights, quite expensive, but nice and quiet. Access only from 13.00h. Only one large sanitary building, but clean and tidy, also with a nice camper kitchen with free dishwasher. It's best to buy 24-hour tickets for the streetcar at reception and then walk to the stop in about... 5 minutes. About 10 minutes later you are at Lisebergpark and about 15 minutes later in the city center. The walk to the park takes 35 minutes. The campsite is right next to a forest where you can walk your dogs.

It was a difficult decision whether to give the course four or three points for overall impression. I chose three points because it was the most expensive site in Sweden; otherwise it would deserve four stars. The sanitary facilities are clean and in good order. The reception was like in a hotel :-).... Bread roll service is available in the morning. In a few minutes you can walk to the streetcar stop to see the city of Götheborg. The place is very well suited for this.

You are simply allocated a pitch at reception. It doesn't seem to be possible to choose, you have to take what you get. Regardless of the number of people, you receive three chip cards: two for the wash house and one for the barrier. So more than two may not 'have to' at the same time ... --- The individual... pitches are not exactly large, some are asphalted (for caravans/camper vans), some are not (for cars). There is no real logic to this, but it could possibly have something to do with the legal minimum distance between caravans and motorhomes. There are only a few pitches that are largely flat, most are sloping to the side (and occasionally even to the front/rear). --- The staff at reception speak English and are friendly and helpful. I don't think the information is always the best. We were given wrong advice about the cost of a streetcar ride to the center and back. --- The wash house looks neat and clean, is functionally furnished and even offers a free dishwasher. You can only enter with a chip card. Why? It is not clear to us. The whole campsite is located away from the village, is enclosed on all sides and there is virtually no access for strangers. And for the fact that an unauthorized stranger might go to the loo twice a year, this access restriction/monitoring? A joke ... The washing facilities are ok, as are the showers. However, the toilet cubicles are extremely cramped, especially if there is also a washbasin in the cubicle. It's certainly not possible for slightly more corpulent people to turn around. --- You can only pay at the campsite by (credit/maestro) card, cash is accepted 'exceptionally' in the high season for stays of up to two days. --- Quite acceptable as a place for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't want to stay longer.

Plenty of free space, but the allocation of pitches is very questionable. About 20% full in mid-September, but everyone is crammed together. The site and facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly, but sometimes not particularly motivated.
