No dining in the morning without a reservation

The campground is very nice; the campsites and facilities are decent.

The property could use some renovation, especially the area around the pool. The restrooms are in poor condition, the faucets don’t work properly, the water temperature in the showers is very inconsistent, and it’s too hot—almost scalding—in the dishwashing area; cleaning is a bit sloppy, and the shower door latch has been broken for several weeks (indicating a lack of communication among staff members). In short, this could be a good 4-star campground, but the general lack of maintenance is disappointing.

Warm welcome, safe, clean. Well-located for exploring the Périgord, near the charming village of Monpazier. The manager gave us great advice on how to explore the region based on our needs. Swimming pool, wading pool for little ones, small lake with slides, but the water is a bit chilly. The slides aren’t suitable for very young children.

Overall, everything went well. Two minor issues: - The campground is better maintained now than when we visited 10 years ago. - As for noise in the evenings from 11 p.m. until 3 a.m. near the lodges at the back of the campground, this needs to be addressed because people are inconsiderate and there isn’t enough oversight—we couldn’t get any peace and quiet (music + loud laughter). Otherwise, the campground had a great atmosphere and fun activities.

The campground is great, and so is all the staff. The sites are fairly large and well-shaded. We had a wonderful vacation.

Nice campgrounds with good potential

The restrooms are often dirty; perhaps they aren't cleaned often enough during the day. The staff’s friendliness could use some work, especially the older employees at the bar, which detracts from the “family-friendly campground” vibe. Also, there aren’t enough play structures for the kids (just a trampoline and a very old wooden train). It doesn’t live up to a 4-star rating.
