Perfect location by the lake; the nostalgic narrow-gauge train runs right past the campground and was the highlight of the day for the kids every day. Very clean and well-maintained restroom facilities...and the hosts are so warm, friendly, and always helpful. Extending our stay was no problem at all. The direct access to the lake and the forest was very inviting. The front desk and all the staff were very friendly.NegativnoIf you're looking for something to complain about, you could point to the road. However, that didn't affect our vacation in the slightest.A wonderful vacation at a wonderful campgroundThe campground is well-signposted and easy to find. All the paths are laid out so that we didn’t have to maneuver our trailer much. We received two cards at check-in; these allow you to open the gate and use the service buildings. I already mentioned the cleanliness under “Pros,” but I’ll mention it... again here because I was truly more than impressed. The well-maintained grounds are explained in a map we received upon arrival, which contains a lot of interesting and important information. The central location for day trips is also a definite plus. We’ll be back again in the fall.

We had actually planned to visit it back in 2020, but unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic threw a wrench in our plans. There aren’t many bike paths, but if you love solitude, this is the place for you. There’s a very large supermarket in the neighboring town. The operators have created a little paradise with a lot of passion and commitment. We extended our stay twice because we just loved it so much. The lake is perfect for swimming and canoeing. The sanitary facilities are very clean and in top condition. The whole site is beautifully laid out and the pitches are large and spacious. Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality. We felt very comfortable right from the start. It is a wonderful campsite. The stugas are well equipped, the tent and motorhome pitches are beautifully situated. The lake with its jetty invites you to swim every day, or to hire... a motorboat and go out. Dozens of excursion destinations are within "day trip distance" (Vimmerby, elk parks, trolley bike, Västervik, restaurants, e.g. the Gröna Tuppen in Fahrhult etc.). We would come back at any time. Who knows, maybe one day it will work out.

The service buildings are new, modern and always spotlessly clean - a real feel-good factor. The pitches themselves are also spacious, well maintained and offer plenty of privacy. We were very lucky to have a direct view of the beautiful lake - simply magical!
Special praise goes to Karin, Roger and Mario. With their warm manner, the three of them manage to create an atmosphere in which you feel welcome from the very first moment. They always have an open ear and try to fulfill every wish.

It is a very nice campsite, not extremely large, but absolutely harmoniously embedded in the landscape. The pitches are the perfect size. The sanitary facilities are very modern and very clean.
The beautiful lake directly in front of the campsite is... perfect for a swim or simply to linger and enjoy the sunset.
