A beautiful place in front of the Nordkapp
Good contact by email and on site. Everything available that you could need for two with a caravan.
The site is located on a lake with lots of fish (could also be used for breeding - at least there was also fishing there.
The pitches are firm and almost level. It is possible to get electricity everywhere... (the site management may also lay a line in the farthest corner).
There is plenty of space for tents (which were mostly used by motorcyclists and cyclists at the time) and huts.
The site is also connected to a site in front of it with larger permanent accommodation, where there is also a restaurant with a manageable range of food and drinks at standard Norwegian prices. The food was delicious and the drinks were well chilled.
The staff were always friendly and helpful and spoke at least two foreign languages (always English, but sometimes also German and French).
The price of NOK 400 (approx. 35 euros) for a caravan and two adults included electricity, shower, water, kitchen and washing-up facilities.
As everywhere in Norway, cashless payments can be made with Visa or Girocard.
Wood for a campfire was also available.
However, it is worth reserving a pitch during the main tourist season.
