"Disaster - Total disappointment! Spurred on by the positive Google reviews (I seriously wonder where these come from), we decided to spend our vacation at this campsite. Upon arrival, I was on the verge of tears - three hours of driving for nothing. Before I even checked in, I had a look at the site where I was to pitch my tent. The "fence" that was supposed to offer my dog freedom, peace and security was no fence - just a broken net that reached up to my knees and big holes at the back of the site - my dog escaped several times (there's a road right next to it!). The whole site was old, unkempt, the benches were crooked and dirty. Don't even get me started on the "bathroom" for dogs with a tub... For the first time in my life, I spent four hours trying to pitch a tent because the ground was so hard - clearly meant for motorhomes, not tents! Even before I paid, I informed the man at reception that the pitch didn't match the description and I wanted to change my reservation from four to two days. (Normally I would have left straight away, but I was too tired and my car had broken down). The man at reception - who turned out to be the owner - could only say "Guten Tag" in German, so I had to speak to him in English. He said he didn't work at the front desk and had no idea how to change my reservation. He took me to the machine and said I had to pay the full amount, but when the employee Anna came back, I would get a refund. After two days I wanted to check out. The man was there with his daughter, they scanned my bill, took my card (which had a €10 voucher on it) and said I would get my money back. After a month of no contact, when I asked about getting my money back, he said he hadn't promised anything.

"Dog-friendliness is a top priority here. - Overall, the site looked a little dated and unkempt in places. However, the weather wasn't the best when we arrived either, which contributed to clouding the overall impression to some extent. The reception desk was very nice, but a little awkward as you had to load a card at a terminal. Money that was not used was transferred back immediately after check-out. The pitches were parceled out and could be closed off for the most part with a makeshift "sheep fence". The location of the pitch was quite remote, which didn't bother us, as we like secluded pitches. There is a small pizzeria on the site with very nice staff that doesn't look very inviting but does prepare delicious food. The sanitary facilities are container-like, which we personally found very good, as you always have a complete cabin with shower, toilet and washbasin to yourself. The site is located directly on a country road which was not very busy at the time of our visit, but when a vehicle drove past, it was correspondingly loud. On the day of departure, the pitch must be vacated by 11:00 am. Unfortunately, an extension was not possible, although the campsite itself was not very busy. The reason given was mowing work, even though it had been raining cats and dogs. For dogs there is everything your heart desires: free running area, agility area, poop bags. Prices: Standard pitch with fence all per night incl. one person 22 €, one person additional 7 €, dog 3 €, electricity, water, waste flat rate 7.50 €, overall not a bargain.

"Very dog-friendly place - We were here for the first time and, as requested in the registration form, we were given a comfort pitch with a hedge and fence on a corner, a little away from the hustle and bustle. We liked it here very much, the best thing was that we had our own bathroom, so to speak, because each cabin has a shower, toilet and washbasin, hot water is included! Each pitch has an electricity and water connection! Gray water and chemical disposal is on site. The small pizzeria fulfilled our wishes and everything was very tasty! If you don't mind that every pitch is occupied by one or more dogs, this is the right place for you! The campsite has its own agility course. We will definitely be back again!

"Beware, rip-offs in the event of cancellation - I had made a reservation for one night and had to cancel at short notice. They then demanded double the amount because of the alleged cancellation costs. Paying the costs for the night is a matter of course, but paying twice as much is a rip-off

"Nice operators, but no infrastructure at all. - We wanted to spend a New Year's Eve with the dog without any banging. We were able to do that. The operators are super nice, but without a car you're lost here. As we were here with the camper van, we wouldn't consider staying here again. The place looks quite makeshift. We've never really experienced anything like it.

"Poor - rats in the square, noisy street, too expensive - Not recommended . As long as the deficiencies are not remedied. In addition, country road past the place very loud. For the high price ... no thanks.

Unser Campingplatz ist ein kleiner, naturnaher, herzlich geführter Familienbetrieb. Wenn Sie 08/15, Rasenkanten, Golfrasen und Kinder die gesehen aber nicht gehört werden mögen, dann werden Sie bei uns unglücklich sein. Der ehemalige Resthof wurde 2016 zu einem Campingplatz umgebaut …und da wir alles "bit by bit" selber erschaffen, wird noch ein paar Jahre bis zur Vervollständigung brauchen. Er bietet Ihnen eingezäunte oder auch nicht eingezäunte Stellplätze, die alle mit Strom und Frischwasser ausgestattet sind. Zusätzlich sind auf manchen Plätzen Sitzecken und Abwasseranschlüsse vorhanden. Auch Zeltfreunde finden hier ein Plätzchen mit Strom in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zusätzlich stehen Ihnen auch Ferienwohnungen, Holzhäuschen, Landhauswagen und Mietzelte zur Verfügung. Für unsere Gäste stehen ein Abwaschraum, eine Bücherecke und kostenloses WLAN zur Verfügung. Desweiteren können Sie eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner (beides kostenpflichtig) nutzen, so dass sich Ihr Gepäck „schlank“ halten lässt. Die kleinen Gäste können sich auf dem großen, individuellen Spielplatz oder mit diversen Fahrzeugen (Go-Carts usw.) die Zeit vertreiben. Auch an Ihre vierbeinigen Lieblinge haben wir gedacht und eine der zwei Hundewiesen mit Agility-Geräten ausgestattet. Die neu angeschafften Fertighäuser mit insgesamt 14 Einzelbädern stehen Ihnen ab sofort kostenfrei zur Verfügung, oder buchen eines der vorhandenen 2 Mietbäder, das dann ganz zu Ihrer alleinigen Verfügung steht. Im hauseigenen Kiosk finden Sie alles Notwendige für den Alltag. Selbstverständlich verfügen der Campingplatz auch über Gasflaschen, die Sie bei uns tauschen können. Außerdem können Sie Brötchen bestellen, die der ortansässige Bäcker morgens frisch liefert. Auch für die Freizeitgestaltung gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe viele Angebote wie: Angel, Wattwandern, Minigolf / Friesengolf, Ponyreiten, Besuch des Jaderparks und vieles mehr. Lassen Sie sich vom Fahrradverleih Fahrräder zum Platz liefern und erkunden die ländliche Gegend auf diese Weise. Unser Campingplatz liegt direkt hinterm Deich. Zum Watterlebnis Sehestedt, das man zu Fuß gut erreichen kann, sind es vom Campingplatz aus ca. 1,2 Kilometer.
