silent camping in central Burgenland
A family-run campsite with its own natural swimming lake. Very quiet as "silent camping", very clean, very friendly, pure nature and incredible biodiversity, no light pollution; dog-friendly! Ideal for families who want to bring their children closer to nature and all late risers as well as people looking for peace, nature and empathetic togetherness.
Fixed quiet times that must be observed by all; no party place!

Very friendly, uncomplicated, nice large pitches, use of swimming pond included in the price, very idyllic, quiet, many sights all around, bike tours directly from the campsite

Sanitary facilities a bit cramped, but very clean
Beautiful campsite with swimming pond
A really nice place to feel good, buffet at the bathing pond, good and cheap food, shopping, cycling, swimming, sightseeing etc.

The peace and quiet, the clear pond. Numerous excursion options for children and adults.

Applies to the tent meadow: This was still a field in 2019, but you can still tell in 2020. The grass was too long. Little shade in the morning and only at the back in the late afternoon.
Perfect father/child camping weekend
We were already in Markt St. Martin with friends in 2019 when the campsite was still run by the municipality. Now that the municipality has handed it over to a tenant, the prices have increased somewhat, but the old sanitary facilities at the campsite have been demolished and rebuilt.
There is seating... and a darts machine at the newly built reception.

Everything was clean. The washing-up area is no longer on the outside, but has its own room in the sanitary facilities. There is also a washing machine and a dryer (€ 2 per use).

Electricity can also be connected to the tent pitches if required.

Nothing has changed at the bathing pond since 2019. The water is clear and we were able to observe the newts again.

The old cycle path now runs around the campsite. In 2019, it still went past the mobile home pitches.

In bad weather or if it's just too cool to swim, the area offers plenty of alternatives.

We will probably spend our fathers'/children's camping weekend here again in 2021!
