Since the local supermarket is closed, you can shop nearby

Unfortunately, the public restrooms and showers are now only open in the A wing. There’s nowhere to change a baby’s diaper. We spoke with local campers on site who have brought this issue up several times, but Eric apparently has no interest in doing anything for the campers this fall. Every campsite at the harbor offers more comfort.
Unfortunately, there's no place to change a baby's diaper
Unfortunately, the only public restrooms are also accessible to café guests, so when a party is held here, the restrooms are dirty.

We always get a great seat without having to make a reservation. Everyone is very friendly and understands German.
Negativno
No disadvantages
Super campsite very nice operator
We have been traveling to Denmark for years and despite other destinations we are always drawn back to Hedebo Camping. We are always greeted very personally and always get a great pitch with our motorhome even though we never book. The sanitary facilities are cleaned often and well. The staff are very... friendly and helpful. There is plenty for children to discover. The free swimming pool is also great for splashing around. The playgrounds and bouncy castles are great places to make friends. Hedebo Camping is well worth a visit. The operators speak very good German.

The site is very well located in relation to the water and the city and the pitches are ok size.
Negativno
The campsite appears clean but it turns out that the owner allows permanent campers to establish toilets/das on each pitch... However, these were removed again when it was reported to the municipality. Paying for showers is a bit too high a price - especially when site rental etc. is already in the highest class. It seems like people have gotten a little too greedy in the Corona era
Quite good space but unhygienic
It's a site with great opportunities and there are plenty of sanitary facilities on site of a reasonable standard.
However, the price is far too high for the standard.

Dear Søren. Unfortunately, you have been angry with us, even though your friends (the subject of this post) have asked you to stop persecuting us. We are probably one of the campsites that spends the most resources on cleaning, so it's extreme that you would call the campsite unhygienic.

We comply with... all rules regarding toilets. toilets at our campers, and in the case mentioned, the municipality had no remarks. The toilet you mention here was not removed when you reported it to the municipality. It was removed because our poor camper felt persecuted by you ...

You have previously reviewed our site with 5 stars, so you probably like coming here. Of course, you are always welcome again. Best regards Eric and Lene

Very friendly welcome. Very clean sanitary facilities. Close to the harbor and directly on the beach.
Negativno
There is nothing wrong with the place.
Great place
As we were on a round trip to Denmark, we only stayed at the campsite for three nights.
We would have liked to stay longer. Even the welcome was very nice.
Very clean and really cheap after the season. But even during the season it's really good value for money.

It's a pity that some dog owners leave their four-legged friends' droppings where other campers pursue leisure activities.
Simply vacation
Highly recommended campsite. We will be back. There is something for all campers. Unfortunately, every vacation comes to an end and two weeks are too short anyway.

- Proximity to the beach - Friendliness
Negativno
WiFi relatively expensive.
Well-organized CP with a wide range of options
We booked a cabin and a camper van pitch there with friends. We were accommodated close to each other, very nice. Reception multilingual and always friendly. Playgrounds for all ages available, plus mini golf, table tennis, tennis and basketball court. Supermarket with sufficient assortment (incl. outdoor... supplies) available. Because it is a large site, some of the paths are a little longer. But this also equalizes the crowd. The pitches are all spacious and level. Almost every pitch has a sea view. It was about 200 m from our pitch to the fine sandy Baltic Sea beach. Great. Sufficient and clean sanitary facilities. Shower facilities unfortunately only available for 5 crown coins (currency exchange machine available at reception); however, the showers always include a toilet and washbasin and are very spacious and almost suitable for a whole family. We actually had to get "cash" for this at the end of our vacation. Disadvantage Wifi: Wifi only available at the reception; however, a package can be purchased for 50 crowns (approx. 7 EUR) = 3 days or 150 crowns for a month. On-site snack bar very basic and fast food. However, there are plenty of good places to eat in the surrounding area (Saeby). There is a lovely beach walk from the campsite. The cabin booked by our friends was clean and adequately furnished and equipped. Incl. nice terrace and TV. Good excursion possibilities, Skagen approx. 50 minutes away; Frederikshavn approx. 10 minutes; Saeby approx. 5 minutes away.

A great place to live!
A campsite where we quickly felt at home and met other nice campers - both regulars and tourists. The water park, the grocery store, the mini golf, the bathing and toilet facilities and not least the location are just right for us who are very picky...:) But the very best: The competent and welcoming treatment you get from the site staff. We will gladly come here again!

Lack of soap dispensers!
Lovely campsite!
We love Hedebo, but only one thing is missing; soap in all toilets! The fact that there are only two dispensers for ten toilets is below criticism! And paper towels would also be preferable!

A large CP with a high proportion of friendly Danish permanent campers. In addition to modern sanitary facilities, the site has all kinds of play and leisure facilities. Unfortunately, we were there in constant rain, so we couldn't use much of it. Very friendly staff at reception. There is a large, very well-stocked supermarket at the entrance to the campsite, which is set back from the road.

Hedebo is a beautifully situated campsite that offers great pitches, especially for tent enthusiasts. The beach at the campsite as well as the beaches in the surrounding area are very beautiful and mostly deserted.

Now it's easy... to get to the tropical pool, as it's both warm and "springy" - but we can't really enjoy the sun and the sunshine, but we were happy to get to it in the cooler summer :-) The beach is great, as you can enjoy a nice view of the sunny and green beach, and you are welcome to stay on one of them. The town is also very popular - you can listen to "Matador" on the beach. Meget charmerende og idyllisk! Some of the places are pretty bad, but it's not easy to find them, as the tourists don't go together with the other campers - but they do. I've been looking at places on the ground for a long time, and that's not always the case. If you're alive and well these days, you're going to be in the best of hands. This is done with men in all areas, and for this reason only a few of the men - at best a higher level. If you're looking for a good night's sleep, a good night's sleep and a good night's sleep, it's a good night's sleep - especially if you're on the beach, in the snow or just in the shade. You can't complain about the bathing facilities - they're open all day, but some of them are like "terrorists" who are trying to be "morsels" - well, I'm not a camping fan who wants to be a model for others! Working in receptions is hectic in the home, but it's both fun and professional. If you come into the company, you can always get a student-for-a-student job with personnel. It's hard to... Campingfatter and his wife have had a really fantastic time - they have been so intimate and good, so close to each other. The people are the same age as they were, and they're all so sweet, rare and good. In fact, really rich! As I can hear, I'm a big fan of these plads - not for any reason!!! Hov, forresten... Jeg må ikke glemme Campingfatter Senior... Han er helt speciel, men kan være svær at få en snak med. Et lille fif: Bed ham vise jer hans samling af motorcykler, som han har samlet gennem et helt liv. So you get a level for life, if his humor is to continue... :o)

Hedebo Strand Camping firmly in Danish hands We spent 3 weeks at this beautifully laid out site in July 2010. Beautiful beach in both directions, where we rarely met people when walking in the main season. A fine sandy beach with mussel beds that really don't interfere with swimming. There is nothing... to complain about the pitches either. The registration is exemplary as rarely experienced! The site staff are friendly and helpful. But beware, the site is far up in Denmark, there are hardly any Germans there... (firmly in Danish, Finnish and Swedish hands) which means that our 13-year-old son had hardly any contact with other children.... He was not allowed to play soccer or take part in community games in the evenings. We all felt that we were tolerated, but we didn't really warm up to the locals in the north of Denmark, as 3 other couples also noted. As we only live 150 km away from Denmark, we are often in Denmark and really not sensitive, we will never go so high again in this beautiful country. So, now to the campsite, for the number of pitches there are too few sanitary blocks, but it was ok for us, showers 4 minutes for 5 crowns in large family showers, toilets mainly for ladies and gentlemen together (we didn't know that either) and the cleanliness was taken care of and was ok! Unfortunately I couldn't take photos of the swimming pool, I didn't have a wide-angle lens with me, so it was very small but clean and well supervised. W-Lan is free, but only works in the room above the registration desk, not elsewhere. Shopping facilities on site...quite expensive.... so off to Aldi or Lidl are 2 km away or to Saeby also 2 km away. Saeby has a nice harbor and fishing is possible from the pier. Many excursion destinations and events in the area, loudspeaker announcements on the site only in Danish.
