Very quiet location on the river Our (German: Sauer) near Vianden in Luxembourg.

Unkind sanitary facilities with some important details missing, such as hooks, toilet paper, soap, facilities for drying hands and the technology for hot water. General lack of cleanliness in the washrooms. Price too high for what is offered.
Currently more appearance than reality
In front of the barrier, the entrance barely offers enough space for caravans to be parked without hindrance.
The collection of tools, machines and old fridges next to the registration area is also somewhat irritating.
The pricing actually makes for a comparative price of 25.50 euros per night for two... people with a caravan and electricity - but without a shower.
Hot water is charged electronically via a card pre-loaded with 10 euros for 80 cents per minute at all points (showers, sinks, laundry room where you probably also have to wash up in one of two sanitary blocks).
The debit continues even if you don't use hot water! You therefore have to pull the card out of the holder immediately, which leads to cold surprises, especially when showering.
Incidentally, the hot water comes out almost boiling, which is why you should never let children shower alone!
The obvious cost-cutting in all areas is also evident in the handles of the shower fittings, which were probably installed by chance (often there is no marking for warm) and the lack of any hooks, except in some showers.
Two of the four hooks on the men's side were permanently locked.
Particularly annoying, however, is the impression that, at least during our stay, the cleaning left some room for improvement, as the bar of soap lying on the floor in one shower was always to be found.
For longer caravans and motorhomes, it is important to know that some of the pitches directly on the river have a considerable slope, which requires a not inconsiderable one-sided compensation if a level pitch is preferred.
There is a second entrance to the site with a barrier, but this cannot be used with the temporary guests' card.
The site has potential, but is currently only recommended for longer stays with not inconsiderable restrictions.
The majority of the site is occupied by permanent campers.
