- MAMartin A.junij 2026PozitivnoA wonderful chalet that offers coziness and comfort without the need for luxury—and that’s exactly what makes it such a delightful place for a fantastic stay. Stunning views and surrounded by nature!NegativnoSimply put, it’s a complete chalet that leaves us thinking: it’s going to take so long until our next stay.A Vacation in Every Sense of the WordThe place is gorgeous. It has plenty of amenities, and all the glass gives you a wonderful sense of being outdoors (even when you're comfortably inside!).Samodejno prevedeno.Odgovorjeno od Castelwood 9. julij 2026Thank you very much for all your kind words about Castelwood and Chalet Biron. K.junij 2026PozitivnoA simple but lovely wooden house A beautiful spot surrounded by nature A lovely area with plenty of things to do: culture, nature, markets, and a "marche gourmand"NegativnoThe pool is a bit small when the park is at full capacity The number of umbrellas is modest compared to the number of lounge chairsA lovely, nature-rich spot in beautiful surroundingsBeautiful place
Simple accommodations, but everything you need is more than sufficient
Wooded, with small game and plenty of birdsSamodejno prevedeno.Odgovorjeno od Castelwood 16. julij 2026We thank you for your feedback and are delighted that you enjoyed the natural surroundings and the tranquility of our estate.
However, we would like to provide some clarification regarding your impressions. Regarding the pool: measuring 17 by 7 meters, it offers a spacious area relative to the number... of accommodations we offer. Furthermore, the occupancy rate during your stay was very low (4 occupied chalets), which meant that all facilities were fully available.
As for the umbrellas, rest assured: we have all the necessary equipment to meet demand even at full occupancy. The number of umbrellas set up is adjusted daily based on the number of guests, with an eye toward aesthetics and preserving the landscape of our park.
Finally, regarding the air conditioning, thank you for bringing this up! This is indeed a project we are already actively working on to further improve your comfort.
We remain committed to listening to your feedback and hope to welcome you back on your next visit to the region.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. The cabins are great.NegativnoAir conditioning in the small cabins, because the fans weren't enough in this intense heat—the fridge is heating up and releasing heat into the cabin. Maybe keep the pool open until 8 p.m.I highly recommend these great landlordsIt's great—everything is well thought out, organized, and clean.Samodejno prevedeno.Odgovorjeno od Castelwood 2. julij 2026Thank you so much for your second stay with us and for such positive feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you still feel so welcome and that you appreciate the cleanliness and layout of our chalets. Your loyalty is our greatest reward.
As for the air conditioning, please note that some of our chalets... (the higher-end models) are indeed equipped with it. For this stay, you chose our standard model, which features a large ceiling fan. Given this truly exceptional heat wave, we realize that the fans unfortunately reached their limits, and that the refrigerators had to run at full capacity!
We’ll definitely keep your idea in mind about keeping the pool open until 8 p.m. during heat waves—it’s an excellent suggestion.
We look forward to seeing you again (in milder weather!)Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. - TWTrudy W.junij 2026PozitivnoA lovely cabin with all the amenities. Every day, birds chirping to wake you up. Right in the middle of the trees. It was wonderful. We could order fresh bread or sweets every morning. It was great that there was a small, covered pool that warmed up quickly. - JRJean René G.april 2026PozitivnoA great location for visiting castles and other fortified towns, or simply for hiking in the area. It’s very wooded, giving you the feeling of being all alone with the birds singing. The owners are very friendly, and there are plenty of games for kids and adults alike.RelaxationIt has a "cabin in the woods" feel; tastefully decorated.Samodejno prevedeno.Odgovorjeno od Castelwood 28. april 2026Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted that you enjoyed your stay at our property.
Regarding your comment on the soundproofing in the chalet, wood is a natural and noble material, and it’s true that it doesn’t provide the same sound insulation as a concrete wall. That’s... part of the “charm” of its unique character.
As for the noise from the spa, we’re surprised, since it’s not located near the guest rooms. This is the first time this issue has been brought to our attention, but we’ll keep an eye on it.
Still, we’re reassured that you felt “alone in the world with the birds singing”…Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno.
