Lovely camp next to the river - canoe possibilities
This camp is a beautiful, clean, quiet location in the national park. Sympathetic owners. The campsite is on the river bank, you can grill on the local grills right by the water. The bathrooms are clean and spacious enough, all the places are treated. You can borrow a canoe - the owner takes you upstream... and you ride a nice section of the river in the national park. We enjoyed it a lot! The only problem was that they did not take credit cards - so we had to go about 10 km away to an ATM ...

This is a great place if you want to paddle on the Gauja. Either as a starting point or, even better, as a destination from Cesis.
