The sanitary facilities are perfectly adequate and clean.
Access to... the campsite is via a main road, but there is hardly any traffic here. Otherwise the campsite is beautifully situated in the countryside. Ideal for hiking or cycling. Just relaxing, very nice host and meeting campers. The sanitary facilities are absolutely fine. The owner helps wherever he can and does everything to make you feel comfortable here. Whether guests with/without children or dogs, old or young,... everyone can enjoy their vacation here. The surrounding area is perfect for long walks and hikes. The campsite is surrounded by nature. For cyclists, the Unstrut cycle path is right on the doorstep. Absolute peace and quiet, beautiful nature, Unstrut cycle path right in front of it, very nice operators!
Unfortunately, the site doesn't have its own snack bar, but if you need something, you can... talk to the operator directly. If you want, he can bring fresh bread rolls every morning. You can also borrow a barbecue or a fire bowl here.
The sanitary facilities are very clean, but one of the buildings is a bit outdated. But that didn't bother us, we're not in a luxury hotel.
We will definitely be back.

Beautifully situated, directly on the main road where there is very little traffic (not at all at night).

There are lots of excursions and activities in the immediate vicinity.

We were always treated in a friendly and courteous manner by the operator.
The whole site still has the charm of a bygone era, when people still paid with marks. In fact, cashless payment is not possible and you need... shower tokens to shower.
The outdoor pool right next door can be visited at a reduced rate for campsite guests. Here, too, payment is only possible with cash, but it's worth it.

We are spoiled, looking for peace and quiet, some culture, good wine and friendly people on vacation. At first glance, Saxony-Anhalt doesn't seem to be the first choice for this. We embarked on the experiment of spending two weeks... at Whitsun. It was a complete success. Heavenly peace, birdsong in all its variations, a spacious campsite, very generous unparceled pitches. Clean sanitary facilities, a very dedicated, friendly groundsman. We were impressed by the wine from the Saale-Unstrut region. The vineyards around Freyburg are idyllic. The cathedral in Naumburg is a Romanesque gem. Right next to the campsite is the very attractive outdoor adventure pool, next to the Waldhotel with its sophisticated but somewhat expensive gastronomy. In culinary terms, the area around Bad Bibra does not meet the high expectations of southern Baden, but it is usually much cheaper and more down-to-earth. Mr. Schaepmann's goal is to give his camping guests a nice vacation and he manages to do that. He is always available. The bread roll service is excellent. The nearest supermarket is only a few hundred meters away. And the proximity of the campsite to the Unstrut and Saale rivers is ideal for canoeists.
