Accessibility is very poor. The driveway is very narrow. This caused damage to our caravan. The acting receiver, himself a camping guest, most likely shared this with Mrs. Schmid, the owner. No inquiries at all. I find this an unempathic way of dealing with campers. Advice: make the access wider. Wider, longer vehicles: don't go!
Small campsite, poor access, reception moderate.
Campsite with too narrow access, risk of damage to your caravan. No interest from fam Schmid, owner of the campsite. Much is left to a camping guest. Especially no shunting on the site, but it is not known that movers can turn on their axle nowadays without damaging the ground.

Pure relaxation in a rural idyll
We really relaxed here for a few days. Apart from the "most beautiful village church in the world" (really!), there are no tourist highlights in this village of just over 400 people. There are public transport connections to Biberach/Riß or Bad Schussenried a few times a day. The surrounding area has... a lot to offer. There is no shopping in the village, only a traveling bakery comes by from time to time.
If you don't feel like cooking: Just a few minutes from the site, you can enjoy a really tasty meal at the "Zur Linde" inn.
You can explore the beautiful region of Upper Swabia by bike (or if you are a good walker).

Quiet, clean, well-kept and cozy.

No internet and poor telephone reception.
Enjoyed it, recommendable.
The site is conveniently located for Federsee and other sights. It's a peaceful place as long as individual campers don't have to chat until 3 a.m. (but that's not the campsite's fault).
The pretty chickens are funny, they run around freely and beg for food, but don't want to give up an egg.

Small cozy place
We were there for 5 days at the end of May. Access for larger vehicles is somewhat restricted by high hedges. The pitch is unparceled, if you are unlucky you need 50 meters of cable or more. The operator is very friendly, nice and helpful; sometimes difficult to reach. Dishes are washed outdoors, only... one sink available. There are 2 showers per gender (large and hot water, without coins) and 2 toilets, but no individual washing cubicles. What you might have to get used to are the church bells, which chime every 15 minutes according to the old custom.

Simple parking space on a lawn in the garden
Idyllic location on a meadow in the garden surrounded by thuja and fruit trees. Sanitary clean but unfortunately no paper in the toilet. Only one sink available. In the evening the place is very dark, our children did not dare to go to the toilet alone, there is no shopping in the village, about 4 km... away there is a Rewe. So far everything is OK. What is disturbing, the church (beautiful, must have seen) rings quite loud and long in the morning at 5.30 clock for prayer.
