Denise Z.oktober 2025PozitivnoWe have been to this campsite several times and now again with friends. Every dog owner is not only welcome but also appreciated. The owners are totally warm and friendly and really appreciate the way all four-legged friends are treated, and you can feel it. It is and remains a campsite where the sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and the dog owners use the posted bags without ifs and buts.NegativnoThe campsite in the forest between the mountains has very poor cell phone reception, but this is not due to the owners, but to the region and yes, sometimes it doesn't hurt to turn off your cell phone when camping. The road is very popular for motorcycles but they ride during the day. It is pleasantly quiet at night.Dog campsite with a heartThis is by far the nicest campsite for dog owners that I know. Dogs are not only welcome here, they are wanted. A place where you don't have to constantly make sure your dog doesn't bark, but plays, runs, barks and is happy. Children are also welcome but dogs are free as much as you can carry ☺️. A place... especially for dog owners and camping lovers. looked as if the wrecking ball had not yet finished, an absolute NO GO!
The square in front of the restaurant was unkempt and uninviting, it seemed to us as if nothing was being taken care of here.

We felt very comfortable and the interaction with so many dogs was very respectful. We were there with three dogs and one of them is not quite so socially compatible, but it was still no problem. The system with the colored ribbons (sociable, picky, no contact) is great.

Dog park, dog wash, dog treats at the restaurant and kiosk! Clean and cheerful facilities! The restaurant is wonderful! Free shower facilities. Even a little lending library for books and games in an adorable repurposed camper! ❤️ Wonderful events! Bingo, Pfälzer Abend, Hundefest, Mexikanische Abend….. they are all lovingly planned and wonderful events.NegativnoNothing… except maybe they fill up too quickly!#1 Place for Dogs and PeopleWe have been going to the Haumühle since our fur babies were puppies. The only important thing seems to be the restaurant on the campsite. We didn't visit it after seeing the sanitary facilities.
Dogs have all the freedom they want, even at the expense of other guests. We have been dog owners ourselves for many years and... know that dogs are sometimes noisy and don't always "work". But you get the impression that all dog owners with untrained, yapping dogs have arranged to meet on this site. Dog owners who allow their dogs to do their business everywhere and leave some of their droppings lying around. It's just disgusting.

The sanitary facilities were in a very dirty and unkempt condition. In the larger of the two sanitary buildings there was always the same dirt on the floor for 3 consecutive days. There was always cobwebs in the upper corners and a broken garbage... can lid lying on the garbage can for days.
The sink was dark, dirty and in a desolate state. We then decided to wash up at our pitch.
Of course, the operator has no influence on the street noise. Nevertheless, the road does not contribute to a relaxing vacation.
The advertised store with the most important everyday items unfortunately only had dog food and dog accessories. Apart from wine and beer, there was no basic food to help campers out of a tight spot.
The highlight on one day was that there was a lot of hair on the floor in a ladies' shower. When we asked the operator about cleaning, he asked what the problem was.
Even 2 hours later there was no cleaning.
Our conclusion: Even if the site operators are still in the "starting blocks", the shortcomings addressed do not require any major financial investment, but rather diligence, diligence and diligence.

WLAN works excellently (with the exception of the tent pitches at the playground.NegativnoIt didn't bother us, but there is currently only one supply and disposal point. WLAN in the campsite area at the playground unfortunately poor - but otherwise greatIt was so beautiful!This was our 2nd time at the Haumühle campsite. 14 days of winter camping directly on the Simmerbach. Often the sequel/repeat is not as good as the first part. Fortunately, this was not the case. We received a very warm welcome again. We have a lot of food intolerances and the chef Isa sat down with... us on the first evening and went through the new dishes and the menu/brunch dishes for the holidays with us so that we knew exactly what was in them.
They even strained extra sauces for us etc.. This was not only the case for us, but also for other guests. The food is cooked fresh every day. Despite having families of their own, the whole staff went all out every day to make sure our guests had an unforgettable New Year. Dogs are not only welcome, but even have their own menu in the restaurant; blankets and bowls are always available. The site itself is small but nice. Some of the sanitary facilities are new and clean.Samodejno prevedeno.3 kamperji so označili to oceno kot koristno. - schlumpf h.avgust 2022PozitivnoSehr hundefreundlich, super Sanitär (heisses Wasser im Preis inbegriffen)NegativnoAlleinreisende müssen zwei Personen bezahlen, Platzeigenes Wlan völlig unbrauchbar (vier oder fünf Campingplatznetze, Abdeckung schlecht, permanente Verbindungsabbrüche), mobiles Netz per Handy im Vodafon-Netz auch nur mit viel Glück... Lärm von der Strassehmm...Hunde bekommen rote, gelbe oder grüne Schleifen, um zu kennzeichnen, ob andere Hunde Kontakt haben dürfen oder nicht. Die Idee finde ich ganz gut. Die Stellplätze sind grosszügig und unparzelliert. Sanitär ist sehr grosszügig und immer absolut sauber. Direkt vom Platz aus kann man in den Wald mit einigen... besonderen Plätzen (Uhu-Warte, Aussichtspunkte, ...). Das angegliederte Restaurant ist ganz gut, aber bei manchen Gerichten etwas teuer, aber trotzdem empfehlenswert. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.
Die Durchgangsplätze sind direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Bundesstrasse mit viel Schwerlastverkehr, nachts ist es aber ok. Man muss auf alle Fälle zwei Personen bezahlen, auch wenn man alleine reist. Wer Netz braucht, wird hier um Jahre zurückgeworfen: es gibt mehrere campingplatzeigene Netze, aber da ist zum ersten die Abdeckung sehr schlecht, zum zweiten wird man, wenn man sich sich einmal verbunden hat, sofort wieder rausgeworfen. Mobilfunk ist auch fast unmöglich, ich kann hier aber nur von Vodafon berichten. Telefonieren geht gerade so, mobiles Netz geht nicht. Bei anderen Providern soll es aber anders aussehen.
Unterm Strich finde ich den Platz zu laut und zu teuer, aber die Gegend ist grandios.1 kamper je to oceno označil kot koristno.

Some pitches were occupied by permanent campers and the site is attractively separated by a small stream. Fly fishing is (or was) possible here after registration.
