- 3.0AMAnton M.september 20263.0AMAnton M.september 2026PozitivnoBeautiful location right on the Moselle. Modern, clean facilities.NegativnoThe price listed in Camping Info is incorrect. It’s a very long walk to the restroom facilities and waste disposal area. No discount for longer stays. Daily turnover at the adjacent sites. Why aren’t one-day guests assigned separate spots? The restrooms are very cramped. In the shower and washrooms, there are hardly any places to hang towels or clothes. The noise level is very high due to the roads on both sides. There’s a lot of barking from dogs. We won’t be coming back because the downsides definitely outweigh the upsides. From September 13 to September 27, 2026, at the squareThe campground’s location is great for biking and hiking. But it’s relatively noisy on the campground itself.
The walk to the laundry room and waste disposal area is very long. The restrooms are modern and very clean, but unfortunately there are far too few hooks for towels and clothes. There are too many dogs on the campground, and they’re constantly barking loudly. You get new neighbors every day, so I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. You can go on bike rides and hikes right from the campground.
The restroom facilities are modern and were always clean.
The sites are too small for caravans with awnings and a car.
The children’s playground is a sad sight.
The staff isn’t particularly friendly. The young man at the front desk probably laughs behind our backs. He should also reconsider his “clever” advice.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi! - 5.0MR

Tom B.junij 20255.0Tom B.junij 2025PozitivnoThe location is great. We use this gem as a stopover on our trips north and back. Motorhome pitches up to 8 meters are no problem. Please note that electricity is charged according to consumption, but at fair KW pricesNegativnoThere is no question of not liking it. But please note - there are not really any shopping facilities in the village. But there are all the well-known grocery and discount stores nearby. Sometimes you can hear the traffic a bitBeautiful place directly on the Moselle.Beautiful place at Moselschleife, friendly operators and helpful staff.
Sanitary building up to date.
The small restaurant is run with a lot of love. The boss cooks herself! Waiting times should be accepted, because everything is freshly prepared and is still really own craft. Totally delicious.
Bread... roll service available on site.
Many winegrowers in the village and a walk through the vineyards is recommended.
Very beautiful cycle paths invite you to explore the surrounding area, e.g. Bernkastel-Kues. WLAN does not work at all.Beautiful location on the MoselleGood location directly on the Moselle. Meadow not mowed. Path lighting partly defective, very dark path. WLAN does not work. Nice sanitary, but the light goes out very quickly if no one is in the motion detector. As a result, it is suddenly dark in the shower. very uncomfortable because the motion... detector is outside. Completely faulty design.
Great for bike tours. Price/performance could be improved.

And to call this place a Mosel pitch is really outrageous. At best you would have had a view of... the ramp to the Moselle. And the cyclists who drove through every day were also totally annoying, especially as they were not guests of the campsite. We will probably avoid this site on our next Moselle vacation.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi!
- 1.0DPDirk P.maj 20241.0DPDirk P.maj 2024PozitivnoNew sanitary buildingNegativnoFriendliness of the staff Stand locationWe will not be backWe have often spent lovely weekends with our tent at this campsite in Erden. Unfortunately, this time was different. The new operator obviously doesn't attach any importance to satisfied customers. When we arrived yesterday, we were allocated a pitch in the meadow, which was in a slight hollow. We politely... asked if we could get another pitch (about 3/4 of the pitches were empty). This was refused as all the pitches were supposedly taken. This morning 3/4 of the pitches were still empty...
Due to the massive rain in the night from yesterday to today, our pitch was about ankle-deep in water and we were standing up to our ankles in mud. The rainwater had also penetrated the tent at some point, so we had to break off our weekend trip this morning as the air mattresses, blankets and sleeping bags were also wet. Up to this point we would have said: "adventurous weekend". However, we were taught better on departure: we had to pay for all 4 days. The incredibly unfriendly lady at reception just said: "It's not my fault, a booking is a booking." We see it differently: if the pitch is no longer usable due to the weather, we find it surprising if you still have to pay for it.
In this respect, this operator has lost us as a customer.Samodejno prevedeno.3 kamperji so označili to oceno kot koristno. - 5.0SVStefan V.oktober 20235.0SVStefan V.oktober 2023PozitivnoSuper nice staff, great location, new and very clean sanitary facilities, small restaurantNegativno----Great location, nice staffWe stopped at the site by chance and got a parking space for one night. The reception was great. The space was sufficient for our camper van. The view of the vineyards on the other bank of the Moselle was beautiful. We were lucky that the wine festival was taking place in the village.
The sanitary facilities... are still very new and were always clean. The food in the small restaurant on site was good. This year the campsite has new owners. We left at 7.45 in the morning and we opened the gate which is not even locked. The new owner Nadine actually yelled at me in a high voice at checkout for this! I have never experienced anything like this before... in my life! There was also another incident earlier with her, but not like this. Her husband seems nice and polite. I feel sorry for him. - 3.0TSThorsten S.avgust 20223.0TSThorsten S.avgust 2022PozitivnoThe location is a dream. The pitches are large enough for caravans, awnings and carsNegativnoUnfortunately the sanitary facilities are anything but clean! Lots of annoying dogs!Unfortunately not so nice anymore!Even if the facility is getting on in years, you can expect clean sanitary facilities. When the place is full, it is only cleaned once in the afternoon.
When we remarked that it was dirty, we were told: We don't get any staff!!! On other campsites there is also little staff, but there is a quick wipe... in the morning at noon and in the evening!
If you want to use your hose to fill up with water at the campsite you have a problem, the taps don't have an external thread - no adapter (and I have 5 sizes with me) will fit. A jug or canister is the order of the day.
You have to like dogs, no part of the pitch is reserved for dog owners. So the annoying barking is spread over the whole site.

Overall impression of the place not particularly well maintained, tourist pitches undersized, tent meadow nice and big, but partly extremely uneven, deep holes, power supply of the meadow adventurousNice location, poor facilitiesThis site benefits solely from its location. No investment has been made here for a long time. The sanitary facilities have grown historically, are narrow and angled, poorly lit and difficult to keep clean when the place is busy. But the cleaners make every effort. If you have to go to the toilet in... the dark, there is no way to switch on the light. A flashlight is recommended. The pitches are very small and there is no privacy. The outside sinks and the basins at the water taps are in urgent need of renewal.
