- 5.0CKChristian K.julij 20265.0CKChristian K.julij 2026PozitivnoSwimming lake right on the campground Cleanliness FriendlinessNegativnoI didn't notice anyA Great VacationWe were there for 4 days, and we can only describe it as a successful vacation.
The place is beautiful and clean, and the staff is super friendly. The biggest perk, of course, is that it’s right on the small lake, which makes it very pleasant in the summer.
You can rent SUP boards, and there’s a small... café/snack bar. There are also several shops and places to visit nearby.
The cleanliness is perfectly fine. The one restroom building on the beach is a bit older, but it’s going to be renovated soon; you do notice that day-trippers use it too, but it’s still perfectly fine there.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi! - 4.0
Christiane W.junij 20264.0Christiane W.junij 2026PozitivnoFriendly and helpful staff. Great lake and a separate dog beach; the lake is clean. Beautiful grounds and a fantastic view from the lakeside campsite. We would definitely come back. 👍👍👍NegativnoThe showers and restrooms could be cleaner. (It also depends a lot on the visitors.) The horseflies are biting like crazy.greatGreat place👍👍👍—I met some nice people, and it's not overcrowded.

The site itself has a lot of permanent campers (unfortunately there are also some unsightly pitches) and the sanitary facilities are getting on in years. Toilet paper is not available. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here, there is nothing going on. It's a shame, the site has a beautiful bathing lake and you could do a lot with the site.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi!
- 2.0RHRudolf H.avgust 20232.0RHRudolf H.avgust 2023PozitivnoThe lake enhances the square!NegativnoThe sanitary facilities are no longer up to date! Some of the permanent campers' pitches have apparently been abandoned and littered for a long time. The paths are in poor condition!Unfortunately, the reality does not match the information on the Internet! There are almost only permanent campers on the site, who use their own sanitary facilities. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years and are no longer acceptable. You are required to bring your own toilet paper and there is no way to dry your hands! There is only one pedal boat on the lake and no sign of the mini golf course. For the price, other campsites offer luxury. A quiet place to relax because of the permanent campers.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi!
- 5.0PMPeter M.december 20215.0PMPeter M.december 2021PozitivnoIt was something different to camp in winter. There were also a few campers there.NegativnoIt was so far all right only not much going on it must get around that the campsite is open in winterBeautiful vacationFor the first time a campsite that is also open in winter. At the big toilet house there was a toilet for ladies and gentlemen, upstairs at the cafe the toilets and showers were open, you could get fresh bread rolls every morning and the cafe was open all day long with very nice and helpful people. On... New Year's Eve the owners of the campsite also arranged a small New Year's Eve party there was something to eat which the owner sponsored, you only had to pay for the drinks, the large fire bowl was also lit so that it was also very pleasant outside, all in all it was a nice vacation we will stop there again.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. - 4.0MVManfred V.avgust 20194.0MVManfred V.avgust 2019PozitivnoQuiet, clean and very well-kept placeNegativnoAs always subjective: You have to pay extra for many things and that is no longer in keeping with the times.Nice place with small quirksWe (2 adults) stayed at this site for a weekend. The sanitary facilities have the flair of a container landscape, but are always clean. You should always have toilet paper, soap and a towel with you. The showers cost 50 cents and hot water for washing up or washing clothes also costs extra (10 cents).... We did not test the beach café belonging to the campsite. The bathing lake with a clean sandy beach is very good but can also be used by the public for a fee. WLAN is available everywhere but costs extra, although the costs are limited. Internet via cell phone or tablet PC is very very weak for all three main providers (D1, D2, E network). The proximity to the Dutch neighbor is noticeable and the much-promoted nationwide expansion of the data network is still years away. But that's not the place's fault.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi!

And what I have to say is that there are some reviews here that have nothing to do with this site at all, but refer to the "Blaue Lagune" site in Wachtendonk, which is of course very irritating and stupid for the site in Twist.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. - 4.0FFFamilie F.avgust 20174.0FFFamilie F.avgust 2017Uncomplicated place in a beautiful locationBeautiful location on a really great lake with a Mediterranean feel (sandy beach, chic loungers, restaurants). - 4.0YKYvonne K.avgust 20164.0YKYvonne K.avgust 2016PozitivnoCompletely uncomplicated with everythingNegativnoNo room for young peopleLooking forward to OctoberI'm always amazed at how differently guests rate campsites. We went to the Blue Lagoon for the first time with our 13-year-old son in the summer vacations of 2015 and are happy to have found such an uncomplicated campsite. Booking a pitch is so uncomplicated (even if you want to stay with friends). The... ladies at the "reception" always think along with you and remember your name the next day. The pitches are open and spacious, so you can maneuver on your own even without a mover. There is also enough space for cars between the campers. The sanitary facilities are probably without marble on the walls - but nothing falls apart here and there are plenty of wet rooms. Some people should be aware that the floor can sometimes get dirty when children (and adults) come from the beautiful beach and run through to the shower!!! In summer, (private) parties are held irregularly on the beach. This can and should also be associated with somewhat louder music and nobody dies if you don't get to sleep until around 01:00 on a great summer night because of the music. You can pick up bread rolls at the sanitary building between 08:30 and 09:30 in the high season, but also at the water ski facility afterwards. I like to combine this with a walk along the beach. The location on the Dutch border should not be overlooked either. It's really possible to go shopping in Venlo. We were here again on this hot weekend and, as always, it was like being on vacation. We are already looking forward to the party at the end of September - the place is booked!!! And now the complaints at the highest level: it would be great if the young people had a recreation room - a table tennis table would be great. A small mini store for the essentials would also be good.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi!
- 3.0MPMichael P.avgust 20163.0MPMichael P.avgust 2016Pozitivnowell laid out site, open, directly on the lakeNegativnonoisy due to highway, disposal is chargeable, fly infestationLoud and expensiveThe campsite itself is nicely laid out and looks well-kept. A sanitary building, a bit small but it works. There is a bread roll service, but collection is only possible from 0830h. The bread rolls are handled by the seller when they are packed. (should no longer be common practice these days) The girls at reception were reservedly friendly. We think the pitch rental is overpriced.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi!

However, customer satisfaction and service are not very important. There was little to no accommodation for me as a guest without a car. Just a little flexibility would have been enough for me.
