Clean sanitary facilities, very friendly and helpful owners, common room (heated) with kitchenette and TV, close to Wijk yet quiet

Unfortunately, the wash house was closed due to water damage and you could only use the sanitary facilities in the communal building. It got a bit cramped there at the weekend.
Small, quiet location
We were there at the end of March 2025 with our mini camper plus bikes. You can cycle to many beautiful places from there (Utrecht, Leerdam, Amersfort, Culemburg...). The landscape is very beautiful because of the many fruit tree fields - unfortunately no trees were in bloom during our stay.

Cleanliness, smart appearance and quiet rural location. Very welcoming to British visitors.

No shop or cafe / restaurant within 1km.
Small and rural setting but smart clean and very friendly.
Visited as an overnight stop on cycle tour June 2014. Owners Joop and Marijke Mocking were very friendly and welcoming. Secluded spot offered for our tents to be pitched. Toilet and shower facilities immaculate as one might expect from a campsite that has previously won 2nd best campsite in Holland. Attractive riverside town of Wijk Bij Duurstede is less than 2km and a good option for evening meals.
