- 5.0JRJörg R.avgust 20265.0JRJörg R.avgust 2026PozitivnoWe loved the great location right on the Prüm River. The sites are spacious. Check-in and site assignment were friendly and straightforward. The kids loved all the animals (ducks, geese, rheas) roaming around the campground. We also appreciated the proximity to the Dino Park, Teufelsschlucht, and the Ireller suspension bridge.NegativnoUnfortunately, the playground is a bit small and only suitable for young children. My grandchildren, ages 4 and 6, didn't think it was that great.Have a nice weekend with the grandchildrenOverall, we really liked the campground. We had a site right on the water. The sites are large enough that you don’t end up stepping into your neighbor’s tent. It’s wonderfully quiet. There are no roads or anything like that nearby. The close proximity to the Dino Park, the Teufelsschlucht, and the Irreller... suspension bridge is fantastic. It’s also just a stone’s throw to Luxembourg—specifically the nearby Mullerthal and Luxembourg’s “Switzerland”—with a 20-minute drive.
All in all, a highly recommended spot that we’d love to visit again.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. The site is quiet and very well maintained. We have great respect for the reconstruction work, as the site was totally destroyed by the floods a few years ago. The operators are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site serves good Italian food.
The only criticism goes to the neighbors who let their 2 dogs do their business on the pitch, which was a real odor nuisance.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi! - 5.0AG

Even without a car, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking.
When the campsite is full, the sanitary facilities are a little tight. However, they were always clean.

If you look at the pictures, you can't rate it highly enough how a family business has been rebuilt here. Of course, work is still being done here and there, but always with consideration for the guests. The sanitary facilities... are new. The pizzeria on the pitch is really great. New electricity columns with water points. The toilets are disposed of via a new machine which is very cheap at just one euro. New washing machines and dryers. Very nice operators. It is unfortunate that you experienced it this way. The panorama is also good.
It is a pity that the banks of the adjacent river are sometimes heavily polluted with building rubble etc., so that it is not possible to cool off. The petting zoo is also not a real petting zoo,... but an animal enclosure at the entrance road without access.
The restaurant is closed and unfortunately there is no bread roll service on site. This is probably not the fault of the operator, but the tenant of the restaurant has probably jumped off in the context of Corona.
Waste containers were overfilled, cobwebs were hanging from the ceilings in the washrooms and shelves were dirty. The nappy-changing room spread a stench as the garbage cans had not been emptied.
In times of Corona, the state of the sanitary facilities was particularly annoying as they obviously weren't cleaned properly...
At the weekend, a beer pavilion was opened in the evening and music was played in the evening, which filled half the campsite with sound.
Overall, we were disappointed with the site due to the aforementioned circumstances, which is all the sadder as more could certainly be done with the site.Samodejno prevedeno.1 kamper je to oceno označil kot koristno. - 3.0
Toni A.maj 20183.0Toni A.maj 2018PozitivnoInexpensive; ideal for hikers and cyclists - Trier is not far awayNegativnoVery little shade; typical Eifel coziness ;-)Somewhere in the EifelWe were on this campsite with a larger group in May 2018; we all liked it very much because we weren't banished to some back corner, but were able to stand quite centrally on the site with seven or eight tent trailers. Good, we are all of an advanced age, so no disco music until 2am;-) The sanitary facilities... were very new and clean, although there was apparently a very pungent smell of sewage and manure from the shower area (so bring a clip for your nose). Infrastructure (electricity/water) is great, but the pitch has very little shade, but is located directly on the Prüm. In our opinion, it is therefore well suited for a weekend, but we would certainly not spend a longer vacation here. Reasonable price for the rather simple site. Lots of hiking and excursion options nearby.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. A manageable site with a very friendly host family and lots of nice "neighbors". Arrive and feel at home right by the Prüm. The old sanitary facilities are simple but always very clean. The new sanitary... facilities on the 1st floor are even better. Spacious showers and toilets. Modern design and very clean. There is a nice playground with a bouncy castle for children. Otherwise, a hike from the campsite to the Devil's Gorge, past the Irrel "waterfalls", is a great option. A trip to Trier, just 20 km away, can also be part of the leisure program. Sandra W.junij 20174.0Sandra W.junij 2017PozitivnoFamily-run, child-friendly, quiet, located directly on the river.NegativnononePicturesquely situated campsite on the Prüm riverWe go to this campsite every year at Whitsun. It is very picturesquely situated directly on the Prüm and is therefore ideal for anglers. The site is ideal for families with small children (up to 12 years old) - firstly because there are lots of children of this age here, secondly because it is reasonably... priced for families, thirdly because of the lovely children's playground (with bouncy castle) and the other play facilities on the site (large grass area, cycling on the site) - and last but not least because of the petting zoo. The owners are very friendly. The sanitary facilities are partly modernized, partly not yet, but we have always found them to be in impeccably clean condition. An excursion to the Irrel waterfalls and the local Westwall Museum is well worthwhile. Hiking enthusiasts will also be delighted.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno.
