Lutz B.julij 2025PozitivnoCentral location for water sports (at least for our canoe), lake and forest close together, kiosk, bathing beach with meadow, children's playground - and above all: friendly site manager with a heart for animalsNegativnoNot specifically for the campsite, but in general: most of the access roads to event locations off the main roads in this area are in a condition that takes some getting used to. If northern Brandenburg relies on holidaymakers as an economic factor: There is room for investment here.Peace and serenity in natureFor the second time, we were guests at the nature campsite on the Schlaborn peninsula, staying in one of the two small huts directly on the shore with a view of the lake, right next to the bathing area.
The hut offers good shelter for two water hikers for a short stay: storage space, comfortable bed,... electricity and an amazing amount of space in a small area.
We had booked for a week and arrived with our canoe. The site is strategically well suited for day trips of varying lengths; to the north to Tietzowsee, to the west to the scenically exotic Kagarsee (with kingfisher sightings), to the south to Rheinsberger See, to the east to the rather small Bikowsee, including nature observation and photography. Also on board: our little Münsterländer Sir Henry.
There is a good selection of leisure activities on the site itself: Table tennis, bathing beach and playground, boat mooring and canoe rental ... All geared towards summer and sunshine. If it rains - as it often did for us this week - there are alternatives in the surrounding area: the "Kunsterspring" zoo, Rheinsberg Castle with its landscaped park, the Alfred Wegener Museum ...

The ground is grass and sand. There are no pitches, so it feels very free. Supply and disposal completely usable, many water taps distributed around the siteNegativnoFortunately, there is a small kiosk with a bread roll service at reception, so you can't go hungry ;))) Unfortunately, the nearest shop is 7 km away in Rheinsberg. You should have a bike with you.A great time with friendly peopleThe campsite manager is really nice and helpful! You can choose your pitch, she advises you when it's sunny during the day and is also very communicative in other ways.
The campsite is in a very idyllic location, the access road is more of a sandy forest path and at first I thought I'd got lost ;)
Then... everything was very straightforward and I chose a wonderful pitch right on the lakeshore. Fantastic sunrises and the chilled atmosphere are what make this place so special.Samodejno prevedeno. - Matthias H.julij 2022Pozitivno-beautiful camping site (not too big) in an idyllic location surrounded by nature, surrounded by water and not far from Rheinsberg (ideal starting point for tours on the water) -quiet family atmosphere -Cabins can also be rented! Paddling equipment and mooring for small boats -Bathing area (sandy bottom) -well-maintained and modern sanitary facilities -some fixed roofed rest points for free use (very practical if you only have small luggage) -all in all reasonably priced (for us an insider tip :)Negativno-on the country road a little off the road and shopping facilities (kiosk at the reception with a very small offer, better to get supplies on arrival in a market in Rheinsberg) -unfortunately currently without a functioning table tennis tableBest place for relaxation and water sportsI spent a week here with my daughter (13) and we both really enjoyed it! There was a mooring for our sailing boat at the jetty and the camp hut we rented was a romantic hideaway right on the lake, which kept us and our water hiking gear dry even during two short rain showers. (Socket for cell phone and lighting included :) The sanitary facilities are inviting and clean and we enjoyed the peace and quiet here.

even with this great location to the lake, the respective arrival and departure for shopping or restaurant visits as well as a non-functioning license plate recognition barrier does not make up for it!

As we had a vacationer who had difficulty walking, this was not ideal. However, this is not a problem for vacationers who have no difficulty walking.Super campsite, great location, nice and helpful campsite operatorWe can only recommend the campsite.
