Barbara H.julij 20243.0Barbara H.julij 2024PozitivnoGreat view of the Wilder KaiserNegativno- Pitches with extreme slopes, the caravan could hardly be balanced - Power connection far away, the 25m cable drum had to be extended - Billing only in cash, not understandable in this day and age - Sanitary area locked from midnight to 6 a.m. There is only one accessible m/f toilet for the entire site - Showers for 3 minutes cost 50 cents - Lots of campers, some with several dogs, who barked non-stop and jumped snarling at other guests who had to pass them on the way. - We didn't really feel welcome. The young staff were friendly, but overall they were very reserved towards the guests. Not convincedThe location is great and the view of the Wilder Kaiser is breathtaking.
We wish the operators all the best for the future and won't be going back to this place ourselves.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. The buses can be used free of charge with the guest card.
The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and clean. The hot showers cost €0.50 per 3 minutes. As soon as I turned off the water, the time stopped running. No change... between hot/cold water. The sanitary facilities are easy to reach from the pitches.
We were particularly impressed by the free use of the dishwasher, which made washing up a lot easier.
You can choose between grass or gravel pitches.
In the afternoon, the pitch is in the sun and is therefore ideal for relaxing and sunbathing in the afternoon.
Whether electricity is used or not can be decided individually. It was also possible to try it without electricity first and then get access to electricity afterwards.

A bit old-fashioned in this day and age.Very nice place with small flawsBeautiful place, great as a starting point for hikes and bike tours. Great view of the Wilder Kaiser! There is a great restaurant on site, but you can be in St. Johann or Oberndorf in no time.
Plenty of... shops and restaurants, easily accessible by bike.
In addition, there are many leisure activities in the immediate vicinity.

Uli B.maj 20184.0Uli B.maj 2018PozitivnoSantär clean, easily accessible, sufficiently large pitches, nice restaurant on siteNegativnoFederal road unfortunately a bit too loud, plots often not completely flatBeautiful place with an imperial viewWe stayed here for a few days in both winter and spring this year. The view of the Wilder Kaiser is magnificent. The sanitary facilities are very modern and clean. It's about a 15-minute walk to St. Johan. The host family is very nice. The cows on the pitch turn your stay into a vacation on a farm. Unfortunately,... the pitches are often a bit sloping and you have to do a lot of leveling. The Egger factory is in sight, but doesn't bother you. However, you can hear the main road a little.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Not only the pitches and sanitary facilities, but also the entire yard are well maintained and very clean. The sanitary facilities are new and very spacious and bright. The 50 cents for hot water when showering didn't bother... us, as the 50 cents is more than enough time to shower. There is a bread roll service from Monday to Saturday, but no store. You have to cycle or drive into town to do your shopping, but this is not a problem as the cycle path runs right past the campsite. We certainly felt very comfortable and the few days went by far too quickly.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi!

Hans-Peter W.september 20174.0Hans-Peter W.september 2017Pozitivnoeasily accessible, great location with a view of the Wilder Kaiser, many excursion and hiking opportunitiesNegativnonone foundBeautiful placeWe stayed here for a week in September. The slope of the pitch is a bit bad for the awning, but has the advantage that there are no puddles when it rains. The sanitary building is great and always clean. The fee for the shower saves valuable water. The restaurant serves delicious (but not cheap) food.... We were only surprised that you are still allowed to smoke there - at the bar. You can do a lot from the campsite if the weather cooperates. It's a great hiking area and certainly good in winter too. The railroad and road can hardly be heard, and the timber mill next door is not disturbing. You can go shopping in St. Johann, where you'll find everything you need. For those who need to be online all the time instead of hiking, there are certainly other places. 5 € for 10 hours is not too much, that's enough to check the weather, search for hikes or events or send an email home with photos. The operators are friendly and you can have good conversations.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. We received a very friendly welcome. As we only wanted to stay one night, we were offered a motorhome pitch. These are level and well paved with gravel. This meant that the caravan was quickly leveled. The location of the pitch is a dream. The sanitary... facilities are modern and spotlessly clean. Bread rolls are available to order. St. Johann and Kitzbühel are great for shopping and strolling. - 3.0MSMonika S.avgust 20173.0MSMonika S.avgust 2017PozitivnoLocation, many activities in the surrounding areaNegativnoAlmost everything costs in addition to the already not quite cheap CP, tent with plastic floor prohibited.O.K. for transit. We were just passing through, so it's also O.K. (with tent), because plastic tarpaulins as the floor of the tent are normally not allowed !!! Operator not very generous, WLan costs money, hot water filling forbidden, showers cost money, if you take brochures or pick up many rolls (for 5 people), you... will be looked at funny. Uneven pitch. Restaurant too expensive for families (only one dish under €10). Price-performance ratio not quite optimal. Otherwise sanitary facilities clean, spacious and very modern, playground, table tennis and table soccer at least nice and free! The location is beautiful in the mountains and there is a lot on offer in the surrounding area. It is a farm, right next door is the stable, from where possibly unpleasant odors emanate (country air ...)Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi!
- 4.0RORainer O.julij 20174.0RORainer O.julij 2017PozitivnoClean sanitary facilitiesNegativnoCoin-operated counters in the showers.Good to satisfactoryWe stayed there for a week in summer 2017. The site is easy to reach and well signposted. The pitches are large enough. However, almost all pitches - especially those for "walk-in customers" and not permanent campers - have a considerable slope, which makes it difficult to set up a camper van. The pitches... and sanitary facilities were clean. The fully glazed and therefore easily visible washrooms take some getting used to, although there are of course also areas that are not directly visible and lockable wash cubicles. I don't think the coin-operated meters in the shower cubicles (50 cents per 3 minutes of hot water) are up to date. This naturally increases the price per night compared to other campsites that do not have "water rationing". Please note that an additional €2.50 "environmental fee" is added to the "comparative price" quoted. The ADAC-CampCard advertised on Camping.info is NOT valid during the high season! Dogs are charged €5 per night. In return, there is a stele with poop bags and a dog shower (with coin counter!) at the sanitary building. You won't find a designated dog meadow, let alone a fenced "dog walk" area. There are no shopping facilities (except bread roll service from 08:00) on site. WLAN is apparently available throughout the site. However, we did not book this because one hour costs 2 euros. 10 hours cost 5 euros, 20 hours still 8 euros. The CP owner was essentially friendly. The nearby railroad line (approx. 350 m) and the freight trains passing by did not bother us. The CP owner was mostly friendly. Although it was high season, the site was not busy.Samodejno prevedeno.1 kamper je to oceno označil kot koristno.

The restaurant on the site offers tasty meals. The beautiful village of St. Johann has everything you need on vacation and can be reached... on foot or by bike in a few minutes. The surrounding area also offers everything for motorcyclists, great routes, great bends. It certainly wasn't the last time we stayed at the Michelnhof campsite. Registration, pitch etc. all without any problems. The site itself is very clean and rather small, so there are no residential boats. Some of the pitches are quite steep. Sanitary super! Renovated, clean -> very nice. Showers cost extra - but I personally... don't find that dramatic. Bread roll service - otherwise no possibility of shopping. Here you will find peace and relaxation with a fantastic view of the Wilder Kaiser. St. Johann is not far away.
