Quiet place in the wonderful Arribes del Duero nature park
The campsite is close to a large reservoir. Even if the immediate surroundings do not suggest this: The landscape in the Arribes del Duero nature park is wonderful. The campsite offers very good access to it. The site itself has been around for a long time. The sanitary facilities are not modern, but... they are well maintained, clean and in good condition. The pitches usually have a clear gradient. They are long and narrow. It is therefore not easy to position caravans or motorhomes optimally - but it is possible. The reception is friendly, even if communication is not easy without knowledge of Spanish, and shopping facilities are only available in the neighboring communities. (Self-)catering must therefore be well planned. The towns of Zamora and Ciudad Rodrigo are easy to reach from the campsite - each just under 60 km away. We stayed here longer because of the beautiful surroundings and would have liked to have hiked and been out and about even more. A place and surroundings for longer stays.
