Nice little place on the Schlei
We chose this site because it is located directly on the Schlei. Halfway between Kappeln and Schleswig, far away from the tourist hustle and bustle. There is a bus route between these towns with a stop right by the square, but we chose the car. The bridge over the Schlei is currently only open to pedestrians... and cyclists and will be closed to cars and trains for some time to come. If you are planning a journey, please take note. Kappeln, Maasholm and the smaller towns on the Baltic Sea are well worth a visit. The site in Lindaunis is very clean. Permanent campers, seasonal campers, tourist campers and motorhomes staying for just one or two nights make a good mix. We tried the restaurant and can recommend it, as well as the small shop. The sanitary facilities, accessible by card only, were always very clean.

Finally, an "insider tip": Anyone who has seen the TV series "The Country Doctor" will certainly remember the doctor's house. This is about 800 meters from the campsite and is now a café with very tasty cakes.

Great place with a view of the Schlei
Location! location! location! great place, especially for Bullis. It's quite far away from the action, but there's a small shop with all the essentials.

We had a great place right on the water over Whitsun.

The restaurant is great at good prices.
We received a very friendly welcome.
The system with the chip is good.
I can get in and out everywhere and can also pay for my sandwiches with it. Barrier, sanitary building.

Everything is very clean....
The price is good, I've stayed in much worse places for much more money.

As the weather was also very nice, the boaters unfortunately
boaters often had their engines running.

A campsite where EVERYTHING fits
It's a campsite where everything fits. The site is very well maintained and beautifully situated.
The owner and staff are very friendly and courteous. Modern and clean sanitary facilities. The campsite's own gastronomy deserves special praise. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced

Even in the 2nd year we are not disappointed with this campsite! Everything very clean - staff more than friendly and helpful - the operators always try to find a solution to a problem. That the transponder is still in use I personally find very good. We have also booked here again for next year. More than 5 ********* for this campsite.

Quiet place directly on the Schlei
The beautiful pitches for tourists ("Obstwiese" and "Wasserwiese") were not offered to me, instead we were on a small meadow between many permanent campers. The atmosphere suffered somewhat as a result, as we only had a view of caravans, awnings and metal tool sheds. The atmosphere of the location directly... on the Noor was unfortunately lost as a result. There is also a lack of structure in the form of hedges, shrubs or flower beds.
The transponder system for opening the barrier and for hot water in the shower is a good solution. Access to the wash house is also very good for corona times. However, the capacity of the wash houses seems a bit low for midsummer. In September it was ok, at the weekend there were only a few permanent campers.

We had a beautiful parcelle directly on the Schlei. The Detlefsen family are very friendly and always very concerned about the well-being of their guests. We liked it very much with our 2 dogs

It is difficult to walk the dogs from the campsite, as the road runs directly alongside. The small restaurant has a small selection of food, and the pizza was unfortunately "inedible"
Vacation at Camp Lindaunis
It was our first time on the Schlei and at Camp Lindaunis and we really enjoyed it.
Not everything was perfect, but it doesn't have to be.
We will certainly go on vacation there again sometime.

Quiet, beautifully situated site with friendly operators in the off-season. Nice pitch on the orchard. The transponder is for the barrier, shower, access to the washrooms and bin area, washing machine, bread rolls - that's great!
Negativno
No separate washbasin in the anteroom of the toilet, therefore no soap and paper towels. Only hot air whisk (Corona!?) in the washroom. No partition in the shower between dressing room and shower area. Small storage bench.
Beautifully situated in the countryside
I have described this in the advantages and disadvantages.
Manageable space with a personal touch. Well managed.

Place with a beautiful location on the Schlei
The approach to the site, with its very beautiful location on the Schlei, is easy to drive to. However, there is no queue in front of the barrier. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Permanent campers are in the majority on the site. The tourist pitches are sloping and access with longer caravans... can be difficult when full. The facilities on the site are functional, the atmosphere of the site is rather sober. The two sanitary buildings are generally clean and are cleaned once a day. The facilities are in need of renovation, especially in the sanitary building on the pitch and no longer meet today's standards, swollen shower bench, radiant heaters on the wall for money etc.. The number of showers/toilets is also too low when fully occupied. The advantages of the site are its location on the Schlei and as a starting point for sightseeing

Very well-kept, inexpensive place
Quiet and well-kept pitch. Electricity with very good protection (can take a beating ;-)). Nice staff. Quiet location on a side arm of the Schlei. The Baltic Sea is about 20km away. A nice distance for a bike tour. In general, the Schleigegend invites you to bike tours. We are very happy to stay here again and again.

The perfect place to relax and feel good. Ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. Clean sanitary facilities, showers cost 50 cents. Very good offer in the restaurant. WLAN for a fee.

You have to know that the railroad (only rail bus) runs close to your ear - but in my opinion this is negligible
Pure relaxation
Beautiful campsite right on the Schlei. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean and the pitches are large enough. There is a nice playground and a great swimming area for children. There is even a small playroom for bad weather days. If you like cycling and feel comfortable near the water, you'll get your money's worth here.

Small family-run campsite
We stayed for a few days at this beautiful campsite right on the Schlei. The tourist pitches have a beautiful view of the Schlei and there are also pitches right on the water. The two sanitary facilities are good and very clean. The staff (mostly family) is very friendly. Very good bread roll service... (real bakery rolls) The adjoining restaurant Schleimöwe is very pleasant with its small but good menu. The schnitzel is a must. Despite mostly permanent campers an all-round friendly atmosphere

Beautiful views
From many places you have a beautiful view of the Schlei. The peace and quiet is simply heavenly. Seeing the old bridge in real life is very interesting and you can really drive across with a caravan.

Very nice campsite on the Schlei
We were in the time from 19.-29.7.05 on the very beautifully situated place.the staff was very friendly.in the morning there were fresh baker's rolls and not, as on many places mitlerweise usual,Aufbackbrötchen.the restaurant on the square has a small but delicious selection of dishes.good starting point... for trips to the surrounding area.z.B. Flensburg,Schleswig,Kappeln.unfortunately the weather did not really play along,otherwise it would have been the perfect vacation.

We had a wonderful few days on the campsite. The entire staff is super friendly, the store offers a few daily necessities and fresh rolls every day, the small restaurant has excellent cuisine. Our pitches were right on the shore with a great view of the Schlei. The railroad bridge scares newcomers, but... there are no trains at night and it's nice and quiet. Country doctor fans can walk to the Lindauhof café and indulge in the cake paradise. Very good cycle tours are possible directly from the square.

This site was booked as a comfort campsite, so electricity, water and waste water were available on site. By chance I could still reach the sewer with the drain hose. So not necessarily recommended for a modern hotel room on wheels. The site is more suitable for permanent campers with fishing ambitions or for paddling. The showers cost 50 cents to use and cannot be interrupted.

Nice place with many permanent campers
A campsite which, in our opinion, is mainly set up for permanent camping. The owner family is very nice and helpful. They were always available for problems and helped where they could. Bread roll service with a small store on site and a small restaurant (which we didn't visit) can be used for supplies.... The sanitary facilities are cleaned daily, but we had the impression that the cleaning was not very thorough. Not to mention the friendliness of the cleaning staff. We also found the cleaning times when the sanitary facilities were closed extremely unfortunate. The water pitches are beautifully situated with a view of the Schlei. We didn't find the railroad noises that have been described here several times so annoying, but we also had a pitch relatively far away from the bridge.
