"Sehr idyllisch mit etwas abenteuerlichen Anfahrt - Besucht mit Trailertent als Paar ! Der Platz liegt sehr idyllisch etwa 25km außerhalb von Riga. Im Juni waren wir die einzigen auf dem Platz. Da es noch Vorsaison ist, waren alle duschen noch mit kaltem Wasser. Die Chefin übergab uns aber, kostenfrei, den Schlüssel zum Familienbad das eigentlich extra kostet. Da hatte es warmes Wasser. Die Küche ist sehr schön. Geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Platz zum sitzen. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich. Die letzten 2 km geht es über Schotter, kein Problem. Die 7km davor aber geht es am Rande eines Militärübungsgelände. Da besteht die Straße aus Flicken und Löchern. Zwei Nächte all in haben 37€ gekostet. Deutsch wird gebrochen gesprochen. Sehr nette Betreiber.

"Sehr abgelegen aber gut - Platz ist sehr abgelegen aber gut ausgestattet und freundliches Personal. Eignet sich sehr gut für Gruppen. Gut ausgestattete Küche mit Kochplatten, Kühlschrank und Wasserkochen. Kanu- und Radverleih möglich. Kleiner Kiosk (Getränke)

"Relax - Dobre miejsce na odpoczynek i zwiedzanie Łotwy. Niedaleko odległość do Rygi i innych ciekawych do zwiedzenia miejsc.

"Sehr zwiespältig! - Die Betreiber sind sehr sehr bemüht und super freundlich! Der Platz liegt aber etwas sehr abseits - 8 km bis Adazi. Tagesfahrt nach Riga ist möglich, aber anstrengend. (1 Stunde). Schöne und großzügige Räume für Gäste bei Regentagen. Immer wieder mal laute Übungsschüsse aus dem naheliegenden Truppenübungsgelände. Sehr unterschiedliches Sanitär. Frauen okay, aber Männer im Keller: oh je! Während unsrer Tage dort, wurde auf dem Platz ein Kindercamp von einem Militariaausrüster aus Riga durchgeführt. Befremdlich!

"Sehr gut - Wir waren im Juli mit dem Wohnwagen dort und haben Riga und Umgebung erkundet. Der schöne, ruhige und topp gepflegte Platz liegt nahe beim Fluss Gauja. Vielfältige Freizeitaktivitäten werden angeboten. Die sanitären Einrichtungen sind großzügig und sauber. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Wir können den Platz vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

" - Zeer moeilijk te vinden, ook met de coördinaten van de GPS. In het naseizoen niemand op de receptie, ook niet s'-nachts. slechte wifi verbinding.

Profil

Campsite “Leiputrija” is comfy and quiet campsite in scenic countryside near the longest river of Latvia – Gauja. It is located only 23 km far from (close to) Riga city, 14 km form seaside and 15 to 40km from Gauja …National park (depending on the road You choose). The campsite consists of simple bungalows (cabins), tent area and motorhome/caravan site. WC, showers and kitchen are shared and available 24h/day. Tourist information point, free Wi-fi, mini-shop, bicycle rental, children playground and go-karts, latvian sauna and canoe/kayak tours are only few of amenities and services available on the site. Fresh bread every morning, Sauna evenings on thursdays, wonderful nature - daily. We are looking forward to see You, "Leiputrija" family

How to find us from center of capital Riga: It’s easy: - You need to drive down the main street – Brivibas street – straight all the way (if leaving from Old town/Statue of freedom – 11,7 km) till you …cross the Riga city border. - Keep driving straight the freeway (A2 / E77) for 1,8 km more till the turn-off to Tallin (Via baltica freeway – A1 / E67; direction - Tallinn); - Cross the viaduct and drive down the A1/E67 for 13 km (through Baltezers, pass Adazi), cross the bridge over Gauja and drive 600 more meters and turn right (there you’ll see a blue “camping/accommodation” road sign on the cross) to a smaller road. After 300 meters you will see another road sign, then – after 700 meters another one. Just follow the "Leiputrija's" signs. At the end you will see the sign for right turn (this will be a very sharp right turn to unpaved road.). Drive the road about 1,3 km till you see the Leiputrija on your left. So you are here! Welcome! GPS coordinates: N 57°05´22.9” E 24°26´40.7” (If writing an address in GPS, use "Kadaga" name - a village situated 7 km from camping).
